@@vignotum132 only thing i'd say with that is that i don't think there would be that many songs ruined by the live that year (out of the big favourites anyway) - the only reservations i had were for germany, but i searched up a live performance and while it wasn't brilliant it did the job well enough. we saw lots of songs live (at some point) - norway, sweden, italy, lithuania, russia etc etc, and we saw how victoria and gjon's tears smashed it the year after vocally.

Most underrated by fans: Armenia, Czechia, Belarus, Cyprus - they were all amongst my favorites in 2020 because these entries aren't "typical Eurovision" AT ALL. Those kind of songs are fresh, interesting and made this year musically relevant imo. Those songs were something unexpected, we didn't hear before - so basically they are the exact opposite to the bland/dated entries from Poland or Estonia. I will never get how some fans appreciate basic songs (in general) more than something actually exciting.

Recuerdo que hice mi TOP 10 de ese año y una supuesta amiga me dijo "Tengo que decir que tu gusto es pésimo. Lituania mínimo TOP 5" Vale, será su gusto, no el mío. No sé si lo hiciste, pero estaría bien un vídeo comparando 2020-2021 con los artistas que repitieron, sería un poco injusto para los que no repitieron pero sería curioso saber si mejoraron o empeoraron de un año para el otro. Can't believe how close this is to my ranking, especially since having Lithuania and Iceland that low is not a very popular opinion. 2020 is my favorite year ever by far, I'm still sad we didn't get to see these on the big stage.
The fact we didn't have the opportunity to experience the masterpieces "Solovey" and "Fai Rumore" are on ESC stage (Diodato as interval act in 2022 was the consolation prize at least). But that year also includes my biggest disappointment as a revamp : "Shaj" would have been my 3rd place when "Fall from the sky" was not even in my top 10 ...

This was a really strong year, Belarus being the only terrible one out of 41 entries. I'd like to have seen what they'd have done in their live performances.
