Eurovision Song Celebration 2020 - All 41 songs

- Опубліковано 28 кві 2020
- It has been an unusual Eurovision year to say the least, so to bring the excitement of the event weeks to your home, we’re pleased to announce 2 special shows will air on the same dates as the Eurovision 2020 Semi-Finals!
The ‘Eurovision Song Celebration’ will premiere online on our UA-cam channel on Tuesday 12 and Thursday 14 May at 21:00 CEST.
In place of this year’s Semi-Finals, the two-part “Eurovision Song Celebration” will recognise all 41 participants and their songs in a non-competitive format.
To add to the excitement all the songs will be played out in the official Semi-Final running orders decided by this year’s producers. The Celebration will also showcase what the artists had in store for 2020.
On Tuesday 12 May, the EBU will spotlight the songs that would have been shown in Semi-Final One including host country the Netherlands and 2 of the Big 5 countries: Germany and Italy. The second online show, broadcast on Thursday 14 May, will feature the songs chosen for Semi-Final Two and will include the rest of the Big 5 countries: France, Spain and the United Kingdom.
While there will be no competitive element in these productions, you can still expect many surprises along the way!
In true celebration of all the Eurovision 2020 songs, we encourage you to rally behind your favourite artists and get ready to create an all-out Eurovision Party at home!
To pay tribute to the loyalty of the Eurovision fan base, the Eurovision Song Celebration 2020 shows will include the first-ever Fan Recaps - you too can be a part of Eurovision history. Instead of the classic recap of the participating songs, we invite YOU to sing, dance, jump and party along to your most-loved Eurovision songs of 2020.
How to participate?
May 12 and 14 is getting closer and closer, so start preparing to make yourself Eurovision-ready! Gather your supplies, don your best Eurovision 2020 outfit and prepare the room you will film in by decorating it with flags and props to give it that special Eurovision-feel.
All you need to do is record yourself dancing to the 20-second snippets of all - or a selection - of your favourite acts and your celebration might be featured in the shows.
Technical video specifications:
- Use the device in 16:9, horizontal/landscape
- Record in 1920x1080 HD
- Use the latest device you have, when possible, with a tripod or on a steady base
- Submit the files in MP4 or MOV format (your device should do this automatically)
- Ensure you are well lit by a window or a light near your device
Send the file in the highest resolution via WeTransfer to competition@eurovision.tv (alternatively via Google Drive, OneDrive, Myairbridge.com or Dropbox)
Include your name, country, age(s), email address and phone number
The deadline to submit your video recording is Tuesday 5 May.
We welcome contributions from fans of all ages - and if you want to sing with your family or with those you are staying at home with, please feel free. That said, if you’re under 18 and wish to participate, please send parental permission with your contribution.
By sending these files, you give the Eurovision Song Contest and the participating broadcasters the permission to use your video for broadcast and publishing on their official (online) channels.

I agree.
I think they should make a special show "class of 2020" one day where they all get the chance to perform it on stage. They are officially chosen songs for ESC and some songs were really good. It is just like so in vain. Such a show would be better than Anniversary shows or kind of where they invite ex - winners or other notorious artist.

I genuinely believe that this could have been the best Eurovision in recent history, if not the best of all time. An endless amount of great songs. It makes me so sad that we'll never get to see these amazing songs performed on the Eurovision stage.
But we got the Eurovision of 2021, where most of the artists who got a second chance returned with even better songs (like Iceland, Ukraine, Malta, Bulgaria, Swizerland and the Netherlands). We got Finland, we got France, we got Jendrik (for better or worse), we got The Roop, we got EfenTix, and we got Måneskin. What escaped us in 2020 was brought back tenfold in 2021.
@@yfe24 Bulgaria & Icelands songs were better in 2020
I dont agree with you. This year had about 10 really great songs which is good ofcourse, but there are also like 20 mid songs which you have a lot less of this year (2023). And a lot of artists that came back had a better song in 2021 (Except for some of the best of this year like Iceland and Bulgaria)

What drugs are you talking ??? it would had been a very weak year !
This year is the only year all the songs are robbed. They deserve perform on the stage.
@Luuk van der Kraan yes
Bummer that they couldn't have just done the competition without going live. My faves from 2020 are Italy, Germany, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, UK, Malta, Romania, all of which I think are much better songs than those countries' entries this year (2021).
Yes. Let's vote that they should one day make a show inviting all of them to perform on stage. Class of 2020. It is so unfair for some songs. Even if it is not a competition then, I think they deserve to perform the songs at least on stage as officially chosen songs for ESC. We would see some of them again. I think many of them who represented their country twice also became unforgettable icons.
Diodato performed as a guest in Turin but he does deserve to compete

Corona: Hi !
Everyone with Serbia: Hasta lavista Baby 👋🏻
The transition between Spain and Sweden is just perfect
It doesn’t make sense, really. Eurovision 2020 had to be the strongest one. Why not to let ALL 41 artists represent their country with the same song next year?! You could make an exception.
Month passed and you are still pissed of the thing that 2020 songs won't be able to participate in 2021? For God's sake accept it and move on from this.
I absolutely understand you but this rule is also a way to let the artists and especially the ones who will compete to next year to have more time to write and compose their song. But I am sure 2021's songs will be better than 2020 cause it is still better in better. Let's keep united in the Eurovision community to wait the next edition 😊❤️😉
miloseviczarko45 yeah, still pissed and sorry, moving on without accepting it. Just want to know the reason why they can’t participate with the same songs next time, that’s all.
@@NyamiNyatou That would be inappropriate. Some sending completely new songs while some sending a 1 year old song? Definitely not fair at all. Also personally i'm more sad for the contest not being held annually as usual than for the songs as they were below average for me.
In one year we would get so bored of those songs
Ironic that the one year where almost every song is good or better the contest gets cancelled.

LOL,HETALIA
Why they didn't cancelled a year like 1970
Omg England lmao
Be honest, if the contest wasn't cancelled you wouldn't say that at all.
Reasons why I love Eurovision.
1- A day came very tired of the routine, I found a show from 2012 on UA-cam I began to watch it without understanding much and I liked what I saw, so much so that I saw it again in the following days.
2- I began to download Eurovisive music and began to investigate the event. I discovered its incredible history, its greatness and the entertainment it provides each year.
3 - I have known a lot of countries that I did not even know existed, I have discovered their different languages, cultures and beliefs, in addition to the potential of the artists they generate. In addition, my pronunciation in English has improved a lot, as have other languages such as Italian, French or perhaps Spanish itself, that is, my cultural level has improved significantly.
4- I follow a lot of artists on Instagram, I love to see their stories, their photos and other songs. I do not know a Eurovision artist that I do not like or do not like, all in seven ways are excellent and much more as people than as artists.
5 -I think about your history and I go back to previous years of my life, when my parents were born, when I gave my first kiss, the first time I got my first job and all those years they had an edition.
6 - I wait impatiently for May to come, to be there in front of the television or the PC, and it so happens that my birthday is in the Eurovision week.
I could keep giving reasons but I don't want to make it any longer. only to conclude that Eurovision is the most beautiful thing I saw in this life.

I firmly believe that canceling the show was a big mistake: in part it meant canceling all the efforts of the artists in the competition. On the other hand the songs were ready and this show would have been a moment of relief in the middle of the pandemic for all the viewers as well as a fair reward for all the singers and people who had worked with them. It could have been postponed in the summer or done anyway only with the recordings already acquired, each artist live from his own country (as it has been done but without ranking). Obviously it would always be done in respect of all those who had been affected by the virus.
I will never understand why they wouldn’t just use National final performances and music videos to form some sort of contest rather than having a permanent gap in results
@@Jme_hde National Final performances are most times far cries from the finish product and would give disadvantages to countries like Poland (because of the lack of staging) and Australia (who had been criticized for the choreography and dubbed as the Barbara Dex Award of the year); as for the Music Videos, they could work too much in favor for these countries as people would be drawn in for the obviously more compelling look, but it could also be a disadvantage as the obvious not live sound would make people refrain themselves from voting as they would feel it'd be unfair to have an obviously overproduced sound like Ireland win against a more real, live, sound like Denmark.
@@escotiyaotl8869 This is obvious but UA-camrs were able to come up with some sort of contest it really wouldn’t be hard to have made all countries use some sort of performance - it would have been better than nothing especially if countries paid to participate it just seems illogical
@@Jme_hde Yes, but the sort of contests made by UA-camrs are mostly only followed by Eurofans, who are 100% familiar with the songs in all aspects, while the actual show is watched by even casual viewers who just wanted to see what it all was about.
At the time the contest was due and the celebration was done it was the peak of the pandemic, which would even cause problems with locally recorded performances, an if it was delayed for later in the year it would clash with the Junior contest and 2021 season start.
I agree that there were many good songs that were robbed to perform. Some of the songs and artists were nearly already iconic among the ESC fans and youtube watchers and people could not wait to see it on stage. Even without live spectators I would preferred to see the acts and songs. Some songs were like wasted because of this cancellation. I still regret that.
12 points go to Serbia 🇷🇸 From Greece 🇬🇷 Amazing song brothers !!!
I thought Serbia would have been top 3, even competing for first.
Love from 🇷🇸
These songs are technically Covid-19 victims- 💀
This eurovision year would be so awesome 🤧
Best Eurovision Year ever........so much songs with winning potential in 1 year. And even the "bad" songs which wont qualify are very good this year.
R.I.P Lost year of ESC :/
Totally agree man.. so many bangers
OH MY GOD we will have a show??? YESSS. iM GETTING SO MANY CHILLS WITH THIS VIDEO.
Samira Efendi would've been Queen of stage 💙❤💚

It's a battle between Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, and Ukraine for me. WHICH IS BETTER?
it breaks my heart listening to all of these songs, thinking about their back stories and how they got selected & everything, then knowing they’ll never get onto the Eurovision stage 😭😭
What song from Switzerland do you like more? 🇨🇭

Les 2 sont biens mais je préfère She got me

This is sad, so many amazing songs!
So good songs
Italy, Spain and Switzerland are the battle of falsetto singers. Great songs.
But Diodato did falsetto only in the ending
And that's how you get nostalgic with 41 songs at the same time...
The sad year in the history of competition
The fact that in 2021 we're gonna see lesse than half of these performers is actually sad
Broadcasters are incompetent af
Say that to Baltics and Nordics. I support every artist initially selected for this year to participate next year. But of course with completely new songs.
I hope those Hurricane hoes won't represent your country next year.
@@tetsuo964 that is just mean, all 2020 artists including them deserves to participate in 2021
This year's Eurovision was SO GOOD! So many amazing songs! I still don't understand why not let all Artists come back in 2021 and choice if they want to keep the songs! Doesn't feel fair with all the work they put on it. So many of these songs are so special to the artist and to us for not been celebrated in all it's glory! Anyway, this video made me emotional and I will regret not seen Gjon performing Rèpondez-moi 🇨🇭♥️ on Eurovision stage.
I like the song of Russıa❤️from Azerbaıjan🇦🇿(2.greece;3.iceland)
Just a side note, but I want a flag to the left of the song title so bad ;-; it feels like somethings missing
My day was allright and then you did this.
The jump from Romania to Russia is like a sudden tv-advertising pop up in the middle of Eurovision :P
Austria seems like Bruno Mars
Top 6 - Georgia, Iceland, Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Russia. All very strong
Yes Italy Because it's Italy.
Overrated like every year.
🇷🇺 ❤️
@@JS-ir4sh I quite like Fai rumore. My list is in no particular order. It's strong.
Russia 😂 are you high?
@@eduardoperez8095 nope, it would undoubtedly score highly with the audience
Lithuania, Italy, Switzerland, Malta, Romania, Iceland, we lost this amazing songs...
Italy was overrated, like every year 🙄
@@JS-ir4sh yeah, this years Italy was really nice, but not for 1st place.. Like 9-5 place
@@JS-ir4sh , not for me)
