    Just a thought, to keep the diff screws organized I use a muffin pan stolen from my wifes kitchen. You can write on the pan with dry erase to mark them and reuse it again.
    Buy the wife a new pan for your anniversary.
    Thanks for the vid.

    Great job Anthony. I'm glad you are aiming those lights down. Most Experts DO NOT recommend LED Bulbs for REFLECTOR Headlights like those. They do recommend them for PROJECTOR Headlights. Halogen bulbs have a single filament that is placed exactly in the center of the focal point of the Refector housing thus aimed foward. LEDs on the other hand have many points of light which are not in the focal point. This creates a scatter Effect thus putting light where is it not supposed to be. Down here in Florida we see so many Trucks/SUVs with those coverted LEDa blinding on coming traffic.

    Where is the best place to get replacement pop up/trim keeping hardware the pieces such as had you using the trim removal tools

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  6 місяців тому

      I'd get new trim pieces from the dealership.

    So the trim piece under the headlight just snaps on and off? No fasteners?

    I have a Ram Rebel with the LED package. I can’t find any info on the color of the factory LED’s. I’m think there 5000k. Do you know what the spec’s are on the factory LED’s?

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  2 роки тому

      Not sure, it's most likely going to be 4000K. Closer to a true white vs having a little bit of blue.

    • @Noneofyourbiz71
      @Noneofyourbiz71 2 роки тому

      I don’t think 4300k they don’t have a yellowish color. Probably 5500k they pretty white close to 6000k. Thanks for your response!

    • @AnthonyJ350
      @AnthonyJ350  Рік тому

      So you're more likely to go back to the dealership is my assumption. My 2005 Silverado they come out in 5 seconds.

    • @TheDarkness0555
      @TheDarkness0555 Рік тому

      To bring it to the dealership for sure, they're slowly making everything so it will need to be brought to a dealership or mechanic.
      The factory led design is terrible, if they happen to burn out or quit functioning you need to buy the whole assembly which is anywhere from 500-1200 depending on if you have bi function or reflector and trying to find one in stock is almost impossible without going to the dealer and getting raped with 50% markup.
      I've changed my bulbs once or maybe twice on my 2012 cummins, bought it brand new so maybe have 300 into that and it's 11 years old. Bought a 2020 Laramie with the LEDS and the driver side went out already. They're a f*ckin joke man

      Nice! We made the video to show how to remove the headlight incase it got damaged and you had to replace it. We also upgrade the bulb at the same time.

      @@AnthonyJ350 They engineer it purposely that way so the dealership/mechanics will have people too fed up to deal with all that BS pay $800 to replace a headlight. Scamming 101

    • @AnthonyJ350

      @@jibbityjab2469 I don't think that's sustainable in this subscription based world. Everything is beginning to cost too much and doesn't make sense.
      It's crazy how vehicles have become so overly complicated with little standardization vs building a new home.
