I am understanding so much more about these things I’ve been seeing mom do , for years now. If I had understood this before, for a couple years now I could have been giving her a better life. Not just sundowning of course but all of these videos, you have helped so much. Thank you.

My father is struggling bad with sundowner stage of the day. My mother is in denial. I try hard to make it easier but same time every night approx at 1 he is up rummaging through the house. I appreciate being able to watch your helpful videos. I wish I knew how fast it progresses.

My husband is also doing this about the same time every night at 1:00 a.m. and of course I wake up as he just goes around the house rummaging through like your Dad does, then he will usually go back to bed at about 5 or 6 a.m. and sleep a couple hours. I didn't know what this was called until I saw this video tonight.

I thought the paniel gland is responsible for your third eye and Astral projecting.. lol kidding
But seriously, I take melatonin daily, is that bad for the gland and or cause sundowing later in life?

It’s for that, too! Lol! Melatonin is naturally occurring and doesn’t seem to be a cause of Sundowning later in life!
