As commented on the original video: fully support PT's opinion, etc. One note though (as mentioned on the product page) the wait list for these is now getting seriously long. Production capacity is increasing, but they're being super cautious (for obvious reasons!) so please wait patiently. We handle orders in first-come first-served basis, but please be patient.

So, there was a major issue with these that made its way to market, and the solution is that they'll start QC'ing them for the problem only now. This whole QC only after the problem is found isn't going to work well for these Chinese brands entering the Western market for the first time. Its just backwards. Fingers crossed this is a one time issue. I'd love these brands to succeed, but it shouldn't be the consumers responsibility to find what still needs some QC. Peak, you've said over and over that these brands are rushing to market, and I totally agree. Rushing these products to market without better QC/QA does more harm than good to long term sales.

Everyone has issues. The big take away is how they respond and fix the issue. And how Panda Podium worked to take care of customers. While I agree this sucks, having wheels like this for such a cheap price, a company that is willing to listen and a seller that can take care of you, is a pretty good deal. I think having Panda Podium as a middle man is really going to help build a better Chinese product market for the west. Good comment, I hope they spend more time on QC for the next gen.

Really! Western car manufactures have safety recalls and engine issues and these are cars!
Remember no one is perfect even western brands Specialized with the steer tube replacement expander on the SL7, canyon with seatpost issues and snapped bars, Hugo Hofstetter snaps Bianchi handlebars twice during GP Denain. Laporte and Van Aert's cervelo wheels broke at Paris Roubaix last year. Looks new bike handlebar snapped at this years TDF. What about these major QC and design issues from the big boys and your concerned about some minor QC on a small Chinese wheel brand issues give me strength man 🤦🏻.

I purchased these wheels and only got a few rides in before I got hit by a car. Subjectively, the combination of light weight and low drag with these on my F10 made them a gamechanger from the 2019 404 NSW I was using before. The acceleration going downhill was unlike anything I had experienced before and the front of the bike became extremely light and playful. I am a huge fan of the every so slightly slacker geo of the dogmas vs road bikes (cervelos, specialized) as it feels a touch more stable, but man these wheels sure changed how reactive the front of the bike behaved. Also note that the cockpit is darimo so the front *should* feel lighter to start.

I wondered how effective the fewer spokes would be Aerowise. I have wondered if the move to disc brakes and generally the higher spoke count needed to deal with braking forces has been behind some of the move back to Tri spokes in TT's - Priceston/ Revolver etc (though Dan Bigham rides the Cadan trispoke with the very slim hub on a rim brake bike). It will be interesting if the design and carbon spokes holds up over time to braking forces. At the moment if they can show the QC issues are permanently resolved they look like a good FRO wheelset.
