You can definitely hear the feeling & passion he puts in to every note. Every note has it's own phrasing, quirks & uniqueness, no one else does it quite like Vai. There are many exceptional & technically gifted guitarists out there, but Vai is in a class of his own with his unique voice, highly intellectual technique & sheer feeling. Listening to this isolated guitar track was an absolute pleasure, great upload!
How on Earth did you guys find this? I don't ever remembering letting it get out of the studio but I do see things like this with other artists quite often. It's actually the first time I've listened to only the lead guitar since I recorded it. It reminds me of when I recorded it so many years ago and the enthusiasm I had in doing it. the master tracks usually come from the files of guitar hero or rock band, given the fact that each song has isolated tracks for each instrument including vocals
