    I just bought this amp, it's in route to my house as we speak. I'm an over the road truck driver and I can't wait to get home next weekend so I can install it. Thanks for uploading this vid bro. I was hoping I made a wise choice when I selected this.

    I'mma give you a tip do not melt the amp to the box that will cause it to blow from the hard hits will eventually make something to malfunction inside of it.. you don't have space to lay it in the trunk put it under driver seat

    • @jasonc.ziegler9414
      @jasonc.ziegler9414 2 роки тому +2

      That's completely false. The entire vehicle has vibration just as hard as the box. After being in the car audio industry for over 25 years, owning 3 successful car audio shops, doing electronic/ amplifier repair service for 15+ years, building several Championship vehicles, holding several IASCA records, and being an authorized dealer for Audiopipe, American Bass, Resilient Sounds and DS18, I have never seen an amplifier malfunction or failure directly related to being mounted to a subwoofer enclosure, never.

    • @shawnsturm9646
      @shawnsturm9646 Рік тому

      I think where he went wrong was by saying that it will eventually make something malfunction. A more proper way of putting it would be it could cause the likelihood of something malfunction to possibly be higher. Because it is very well plausible. Another thought that I had stem from this what about the heat.. from what I've learned is that heat dissipation is a very important thing when it comes to subs and amp. By mounting a hot amp to a speaker that you want to stay cool also then you are not keeping the entire system cooler than if it was mounted in a separate location

    I bought one of these about 3 weeks ago! It was making my pioneer 12's hit hard, until I moved my Box and power wire came out and shorted out the amp! I replaced it with a Hifonics Zeus mono block and it was also hitting! When my 6000 came back (it was under warranty) I put it back in! 😳 his installer knows that amp ain’t the truth. He basically was telling him without saying it directly. You use 100-150 amp fuse. 1000 watts or better uses 300 amp fuses and dual input.

    • @Turdpuncher
      @Turdpuncher 2 роки тому +1

      No. 1k amps use 100 to 150 amp fuses. An amp that uses 300 amp fuses is usually a 2500 to 3k amp. You are correct on this amp not being the truth , they make a dirty 1200 watts and are a chinese ripoff of an audiopipe made with the cheapest parts available. They are very inefficient too. But people still buy them because they are used to running cheap amps that say 3k but only put out 280 watts. So when they get an amp that puts out 1k , they think its the best amp ever built.

    • @consciousconscience912
      @consciousconscience912 2 роки тому +1

      Yeah that’s some trash. What people don’t understand is your average hard hitting system is pushing about 1000 to 1500 true rms watts and it bangs. And it’s because they don’t understand how car audio really works. It’s simple but complexed at the same time. It’s a art of balance. I’m pushing two Taramps HD3ks on 2 AB XFL 15s. But that’s now. I started off cheap too and got disappointed 😔. But I took the time to research and learn the terms and language and what all the fancy words and big numbers meant.That’s the only way to not get ripped off. Because even when you go to so called Reputable shop they might give you “decent” product but it’s gonna cost a arm and leg and probably won’t be tuned worth monkeys 💩!

    • @consciousconscience912

      If he looking for a budget banger spend about $200 to $250 get one of them Skar amps . He could get one of the boys I got, the Taramps 3k. He could get one of those CAB 2000 or something like that and that joint do a good but over it’s rated and it TRUE RMS. Man research. How you make a UA-cam video but don’t use the same platform to better your knowledge of what you’re trying to accomplish. It’s amp DYNOs all over here.

Then my amp fried because my battery went bad.i couldnt afford a new amp , so i went to radio shack and ordered parts till i got the amp going again. Learned how to solder on that amp.
