I've had sedykh himself tell me this. Thank you. These were from 2006 and 2007 so i've come along since then but I havent thrown in close to a year now because of grad school
Since then I've worked on is trying to stay up on my toe and increasing my double suppose specifically on turn 3. Turn 4 I also under rotate a bit which has always been a habit. Just for Reference, I am 5'10 (1.78m) and at the time 180lbs. I had surgery and lost 10lbs and wasnt able to train for 2 weeks before the second throw. Did not lift while in season at all because I didnt want to spend my weeks sore before meets, just concentrated on the hammer everyday.
you cant just bend your knees if the force of the hammer doesn't correspond to the countering force of your bodyweight. You dont bend your knees to get more explosion either, you do that to get a lower point of gravity to counter the hammer better. Anyway, bending your knees comes naturally when you need it.
Any thoughts anyone? I've been weight training full time since the end of december (first real lifting routine since 06) and I've adding a 4th turn to my weight throw to work on some specific strength
how far did u end up throwing from 4 spins? im a freshman in college and just finised my season and ended up throwing 141-1 from just one spin. did u throw dramatically farther from 4? from what i can see my spin is as fast as your last, but of course i couldnt know that.
your not low enough when your throwing. the lower you are the more explosion you can get from your legs. your feet are getting wider and wider when they should be the same . last throw was a foul :-P. Just work on getting faster good form from what i can see

I was toying with him, I think i told him i was throwing 260 with a 20lbs hammer.. Only one man could do that.
What weight how far?
push the ball, faster ball = faster thrower. i think of always trying to push the ball into the net...might work for you
18 lbs hammer never heard of it? and I'm a crazy Canadian what's that in meters, and how old are you and how long you thrown for?
