This is a really interesting, creative and awesome animation. The things I like about it: - Animation. Looks very well-made and I love it. - Very good use of the citizen's quotes. - Cool-looking scenes. - Combine Soldiers actually do their job, unlike they just get killed instantly and shoot like stormtroopers in few other SFM's or animations. - Short but nice storyline. - The ending got me. I absolutely loved it. The things I didn't like about it: - Too much radio chatter when the Combine soldiers ran in. Only few quotes of the COMBINE SOLDIERS (Not CP's) should be used. - OSIPR's firing like an SMG. Yellow-orangish muzzle, tracers and wrong sounds. - Some of the radio comms the soldiers say seem random and completely not fitting to the situation. - The marching is way, WAY too quiet. That amount of soldiers should make such a noise that it should be hearable across nearly the entire City 17. - The shot from the Combine Sniper Rifle should blow the rebel's entire head and a part of the upper body off. If those things would be improved, the animation would be even more impressive :3
sniper rifle shots blowing entire heads off? marching that is being heard trough an entire city? dude i agree with the rest of the points , smg yellowish flash was off and sound was wrong but the last two things you said was outright dumb , do you have any idea how big a city is? do you just want the peoples who watch the video to get earraped or something? and i don't know about combine sniper rifles or what kind of bullets they use but normally a sniper rifle bullet is made to penetrate and travel long distances without loosing accuracy , not to rip things off with one shot , that is just needless gore. and he got shot in the neck so the entire head getting blown off with upper part of body is just outright stupid. you do know he is shooting a normal gun and not a bazooka right?

The marching (OW troops in formation) already makes it impressive at the beginning. I often tried to recreate it in standard G-Mod for other projects but never got far, all I can manage in there so far is them "marching" while standing in place (playing an animation). I tried SFM a bit but it just seems to be rather complex and I'm a bit intimidated by it to really try to get these nice things done. Perhaps one day I can get it done, too.
I rewarched all of the good sfm videos and compared them to yours. You had the best one. I’m have 300 hours and i can’t even make a proper walk movement.

We used 2 xbox 360 kinects, along with ipisoft recorder and ipisoft studio. greetings!
