On surveillance footage of the man, he could be seen moving his hand in his pocket as he approached and talked to his victims.
There's a real life writer with a similar name to Chambara who the Tormented One is based off of. His name might have even been Chambara I just can't remember exactly lol
About the utero. Valtiel has some very disturbing connotations behind that particular enemy. Firstly theyre partly biological partly mechanical being. It is said that valtiel would use them for...things in his chamber. If you have nas'rah he will have some choice words for valitiel. A harvest man is a type of scavenger, like a pill bug. They can't spin webs, and only have 1 body section and don't hunt. They often huddle up in groups for warmth.

The 4th phase of the God of fear and hunger is my favorite monster design in the game. I call it "GOFAH-zilla". This is the last and biggest form that still has Girl in any capacity (unlike the final form). The absolute unit of our little companion throughout the game. For those Silent Hill-savy, she kinda looks like a cross between "God" from SH3 and Asphyxia from Homecoming. It's awesome.
I loved the entire design, but I can def see why you like the 4th version. I like the neame GOFAH-zilla, makes me visualize a fight vs Godzilla. Fear and Hunger does draw a good bit from Silent Hill (nothing wrong with that), my favorite throwback is seeing Crow Mauler staring at you through the bars when he's first introduced

Or does that happen normally as well, but the ritual circle just guarantees the god is watching? Because my thoughts are, if the flesh-merge always happens even outside the ritual circle, then that means people aren't reproducing in that world. Which means there's either another way for humans to be born, or there's a declining number of humans because...well, with each 'Marriage', they whittle the population down by one. If it only happens in that kind of ritual circle, then that's fine; everywhere else is just people pairing up. They aren't turning into gestalts.
The idea of a dwindling human population due to marriages sounds like a fascinating scenario. But per the lore, I think the act has to occur in the ritual circle. Here's an interesting thought experiment, how would the self love option from the 2nd game factor in?

So little fun fact about me. I LOVE horror. Theres very little body horror can throw at me that's too much. There are however 2 moments in horror that always get me. 1 is Isaac poking himself in the eye in Dead Space 2. The other is Gordon sawing his own foot off in the original Saw. Dismemberment, specifically self inflicted puts me in a unique form of hell.

Dude. I just remembered a thing from this game that should be on this list. It's a summon you get, I think is called the dark child. It's a spell that makes the pc do the nasty on an enemy corpse and the corpse will give birth a child.....yeah You carry the child around till it's old enough to walk. It then becomes a party member. As for its uses it can learn powerful spells And yes you can sell it to pocket cat.... Only once though. For the player I saw do this he tried to sell another child he summoned after selling the first but pocket cat didn't react.... Don't ask me how I know this.....
