I like to think that Fear and Hunger 2: Termina may of been inspired partially by the Bioshock series. Specifically, Bioshock 2. I make this comparison because not only the moon scorched villagers remind me of the splicers in Rapture somewhat, but the Machine god have similar attributes to Sophia Lamb, her daughter Elenor, and her goal in the game. Sophia lamb is a collectivist who believes being aware of your consciousness is a diseases, and being selfless is salvation. She believe this so much that she tries to turn her daughter into a collected consciousness of all of Rapture's denezins, while completely selfless like a saint. And if that wasn't enough, Sophia known to be symbolized by the blue morphos butterfly. Now, who else we know is making a divine being who will be a collective consciousness of all of mankind while being selfless, having said person be a girl, and has symbols of the blue morphos butterfly near the machines needed to reach the machine god?
