Just watched your bounty hunter one. About to watch the Jedi path one. I want the bounty hunter one but this one I NEED!! The whole book looks amazing!! That entire Darth malgus stuff was absolutely giving me chills and I need! Vault edition or no vault edition though with these vaults are a lot cooler but just so much more expensive

There are six, technically. I’ve done reviews on:
- The Book of Sith
- The Jedi Path
- The Bounty Hunter’s Code
Then there’s the Imperial Handbook.
While not officially “vault editions” there are The Smuggler’s Guide and The Rebel Files in deluxe editions.
bro, you need to be exact and sure of this stuff before you say+record it - I actually like the vid and your voice is actually tolerable z no, we can't see Vader writing in a journal, but he would use the force to imbibe his thoughts as energy into a data crystal, which a droid would then record onto a scroll -
I think I like the idea of him writing his thoughts down in a diary more than the alternative if that's the case.
It's so hard to get this book without dropping more than 200$ on this edition. Really wish they would restock this in a more reasonable price. Same with the Bounty Hunters Code. Great video though!!! 🙌🏼
If I'm correct, the First editons were in their Soft covers? like the Vault edition ones... But Disney Had tooken and "Upgraded" them to have the Star wars logo on them and possibly edited some words out....

I personally don't like when they have notes scribbled everywhere.
I'm very iffy on them. Some like the Jedi Path are fun because it's something being handed down to different padawans and I can halfway see them jotting down their thoughts.
When you get into the Bounty Hunters and Sith books it's less believable. As believable as these fictional books can be at least.

Quick question, how much are these books? With and without the holders.
The "vault editions" are long out of print so they can go for a fair bit, but the regular books are maybe $15 or so on Amazon.

I had the good fortune to obtain all four Vault Editions back in 2016, when a local bookshop chain, and a local department store chain were clearing out inventory, so I was able to get all four books, for a total of $150 AUD. At that time the RRP on the books was $100 AUD each. Seeing this review video of yours here in 2021, and hearing the prices people are asking for these, is utterly unsane. When these books were new on shelf, back 10 or so years ago, their RRP $100 AUD price tags were an extortionate rip-off, and now their $400 USD prices, make it even more so.
I honestly feel like $100 AUD ($72 here) is well worth it for all you get. That said? There is no way I can encourage anyone to pay what these are going for now. I love them. I think they're awesome. Are they $400+ awesome? No. Use that money elsewhere on something actually worth it.
It's a shame we didn't get a new dark side faction as the main antagonist with the Sequel Trilogy, instead of it being a convoluted and contradictory Sith plot.
