what is the price for Meranti? is it good to use for door frames (CHOKHAT)?
It is a good wood but we will not recommend for chogaths. Can be used for semi solid doors. For chogaths go for yellow pine or deodar

If kail is local/Pakistani then it is superior. If imported then both yellow pine and kail are equal
