How Zoox Autonomous Vehicles 'Perceive' Their Surroundings

The Zoox perception system acts as the eyes and ears of our autonomous vehicles. A combination of cameras, radars, lidars, long-wave infrared sensors, and microphones detect and classify agents and objects 360° around our vehicle, enabling it to ‘see’ in all directions, in all sorts of conditions.
