She is plain spoken and clear. Articulate and clean spoken. We need more CEOs who speak with conviction like this one without the annoying sound bits.
As long as she's not a clueless "woke" CEO...
Truly an amazing CEO. One of the most practical and sound tech leaders of our time
🤘
Was thinking I’d be the first person to mention the amazing CEO and am glad to see I wasn’t alone in my sentiment 😊
Great CEO.
You don't know that from this video. You are only saying that because of her skin color.
YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!
Really great interviewing very professional and great listening… love how it’s so neutral and non clickbait just constructive. She is fantastic and brilliant.
How much to buy one?
Great CEO, indeed. I have been salivating for this vehicle since the first time I saw the concept. I am a guaranteed customer.
Great interview, great leader, can’t wait until we can navigate earth with a lot more safety than us humans provide!
I love Zoox and can’t wait to use it.
What a wonderful interview. Great job.
Absolute gem of a ceo. Great communication.
Regardless of how much money this makes, it's exciting technology. It revolutionises the cabin experience and potentially makes the world safer.
I trust her. Buying more AMZN
I've been seeing the Zoox test cars (with an individual inside) for quite some time here in Las Vegas. In fact, I see them practically every day! Sometimes, I'll see several of them traveling together. So far, I've only seen the fully autonomous "robot" version once. I suppose it won't be long before they will be ubiquitous on our Las Vegas streets!
Baidu launched a similar product 5 years ago called Apolong.

Thanks for this really interesting clip.
That is a fantastic CEO, I wish here and the company all the best
oh this company is still around
It’s Amazon, so yeah, they’re still around, lol
Autonomous chauffeur for public use on demand, a carrier shuttle that can overcome obstacles... looks to be a step up. If this works, the amount of change it will bring!
Impressive communicator
Very cool!
Nah fam we need to see what’s up with inclement weather.
Might be good for large campus (Disney / Smithsonian) or medical center or airports.
After that Amazon delivery routes.
I see that you remove ANY dissent...
A self drive car for Uber....wtf .. Amazing premium quality assurance.
Unless the previous passenger left a couple of used diapers or throw up....
There is still a human pilot in a plane! Will people no matter how well it drives, still trust a machine? I'd like to see 3 years of 99.5% no accidents.
genius
Aicha Evens we salute you Ma'am, very industrious and innovative and very consistent, .....your interviewer is very immature sceptical almost condescending with his frustrated style of interviewing. Fly like an eagle woman of colour🎉🎉🎉
Very bullish on zoox
could be 2026 then ramp up 27
Such a nice Ceo properly adressed. I wonder why black people are always yapping about racial discrimination. Even though it exists, i believe we black people surely know how to exaggerate such issues rather than strive for excellence . Good woman she is such an inspiring leader. Good luck to her and the company.
I don't think she's black. She's actually African as you can probably tell by her accent. Further, she doesn't have any face tattoos, excessive bling and she's not wearing a mini skirt to show off her BBL
How about you shut up and focus on your life instead of spewing ignorance online.
Too late
Another great interview by Ed Ludlow. CEO Aicha Evans is clearly a very smart and articulate spokesperson for her company. But this interview raised more questions than it answered. Tesla, who I believe is/will be their main competitor is incredibly advanced compared to all other car companies (I'm not including the Chinese because I don't know anything about them) including Waymo/Google because they have more training data than anyone else. That is because every Tesla owner collects data for them. Also Musk's theory is that fewer sensors makes the software simpler, especially to debug. While that remains to be seen, human drivers seem to not need anything more than their eyes so it does make sense. These guys with their limited presence will have a hard time, unless they license FSD from Tesla!
Tesla is 100% not their largest competitor. FSD is no closer to robo taxi operation than they were five years ago. Mercedes and Waymo have already surpassed them. I’m sure less sensors make the software simpler, but also far less effective. I can 1000% promise you that neither Zoox or any other company have any plans to license FSD from Tesla.
Finally, Tesla may have a lot of video, but they’ve hit a wall with the number of improvements they can make without additional sensor information or mapping. Unless you are ok with the car decapitating its passengers because it can’t recognize white trailers on trucks or function in heavy rain/bright sunlight… FSD simply isn’t it.
Tesla is, after many years, still rated at level 2 only. It seems that Tesla has lost all development the last 4 - 5 years.
Both in the "FSD" area and also Tesla EVs all together.
Another problem for Tesla is Elon, such an embarrasment to the Tesla brand. Just compare to this brilliant CEO
@@stennordenmalm9900 You are confusing "brilliant" with "articulate". Politicians are articulate but I wouldn't want them running the companies that I invest in. There is only one Musk and it's a fact not lost on the Tesla shareholders who approved an ~ $45B pay package.
@@stennordenmalm9900 I just drove from Maine to NYC. Try FSD v12.4.3 and then come back here.
@@tvm73827 well...do not take that looking from above spin, bc you have nothing on your feet.
My opinion is that she is a "Brilliant CEO". Thank you.
When the CEO Aicha was talking, her name was never displayed on the screen as it should be. That's disrespectful, I have never noticed any male, non person of color treated like that. Put some respect on her name Bloomberg 😮.
That’s common in UA-cam. Not everything has an evil intent.
This interviewer did a poor job.
Ed has the most annoying voice in history of Journalism
I stopped watching Bloomberg technology ever since it became a British tech show
Be nice! 😊
Ugh can he be more aggressively ambiguously informed? and Caroline only got in for her husband working Coinbase
He does come off aggressive but he’s asking the questions I would ask
Ed studied law in UK and moved to SF in 2018. Bloomberg really couldn’t find anyone else to cover tech news? Is this Ted Lasso of American tech journalism in reverse?
Dumb is still a car, just a self-driver car...
I can't wait until my Zoox arrives after a lady delivers twins in it....
Or after a big house party... People are too gross for this to be unsupervised.
Scammers

Anyone not from the Christian Race is from the Tree of good and evil.
Yahweh (YHVH) the creator God, who's name was removed 7,500 times from the Bible.

Praise Yahweh, our creator, our savior, and through the flesh as Christ our kinsman redeemer.
This video is about the race to develop self-driving, not whatever you're babbling about.

DEI hire?
Not a single mention about data and AI.
This is doom.
She led the acquisition of her company by Amazon for US$1.3 billion. Racist much?
f*ck off with stup*d AI. You don't know shit.
I assume you are uneducated by your comment
DEI nepotism which america was built on was oK? soon as someone looks "different" here comes the "doom" narrative. Not a single logical statement, Its been doom. Yikes #changingDemographics
She is the CEO, not a hire you moron
Zoox is about 20 years ahead of Tesla’s FSD! Tesla just brought their lidar sense last month!😮
Not even remotely true . Lol
only 20?
