I love the idea of listening to you and your friends chat! Especially topics for our age group as so many of the channels I find are younger women with little kids, which are interesting but not my stage of life anymore. So thank you!
Linda, I love the idea of you and Carla sharing your "take" on how you are handling your lives, both the ups, downs and the in betweens. My circle of women friends gather once a week to share, support, create and help each other (in addition to playing mahjong & eating) I honestly feel that the give and take we share, keeps us sane or at least grounded. Our motto is "women hold up the sky" and I for one think your idea is a perfect way to share our wisdom.
I caught a video of Carla's a couple of days ago maybe and heard her mention that she was shopping during her video with her friend, Linda. I wondered if it was you. How fun is that to have a good friend that loves the same things you do. I'm always waiting for whatever you decide to share. I'm to old to start a business but think it would be wonderful of you two to share ideas for others. We certainly grow from shared experiences. Girl, Halloween decor is your gig. I remember the mask you made last year. I love the witch with the broom the best, but they're all great. After seeing you do that last year I was wondering how I could do one on a concrete planter that is a young woman's head. I couldn't quite get it right since there's no easy way to trace the face. I'm sure you've seen them. Any ideas? . I'm constantly amazed at how easy you make things look. And it doesn't hurt that you live in a part of the country where there's so much tradition and soooo many great places to shop and visit. I would love to see and hear more about the history in your area,, and love seeing the little jaunts you take. It's always so interesting. I could easily pretend I'm in the truck with you and Ben when you take to the roads, but I think it might be just a little crowded. Love the truck. Have a happy week enjoying your New England color. Ours in Ohio is just kicking in, but were getting a lot of rain knocking the leaves off. I'm looking forward to the holidays that you'll be sharing.
I was FLIPPING OUT with anxiety when I saw you drawing on that piece of art with a permanent marker😂 DYING INSIDE! Haha thank you for the laugh, and the relief 😮💨
Linda, I always look forward to your Sunday videos, I feel as if I have actually been to your home, so beautiful and relaxing and soothing. I love your masked ancestors! ❤️
I was so thrilled that you showed the fox I sent to you and your family on your channel. It truly made my heart sing. I find so much enjoyment watching and learning from you. Kindred spirit, Becky.
Linda, you just received the best compliment. My grandchildren exclaimed, "HOW COOL!" referring to the decorating of your paintings for Halloween. I have to agree with them, however, once again you have reeled me in with the beef stew. So good and yummy!
Love being a kindred spirt a special time for us to learn interesting special thoughts and ideas. I am a person who enjoys creating a comfrey and a cozy home with finds at thrift stores and things I already have that maybe I can up my game on. One grate idea bring it on. What ever you do I know I will enjoy it. I always look forward to your channel on Sunday’s. Linda, you are so creative. 🤪😜funny to throw the pancakes. Marilyn from Michigan
Linda, you totally make my Sunday so relaxing. I'm from Canada, so in regards to New England things, I don't know but love to hear and learn new things. So I say go for it. Hearing and seeing all that New England has to offer is so interesting and beautiful!!! Hope you have a great week!!!
My your video gave me a "LOL" movement with pancake disc throwing!!!! Loved it. I must admit when I saw drawing on Queen Bess. I nearly had a heart attack...until I saw the outline of paper! I so enjoy your videos, but would love to share online with you & Carla! I am much older but share the kindred spirit of both of you! The fall season has already brought out hardy stew at our house with the thoughts of chilli soon. Blessings & hugs, dear lady!
I’m glad that you girls thought of this idea a collaboration with you to is going to be fun 😊I’m sure what ever it is will be great 👍🏻 Home decorating and cooking for me 👍🏻
Great idea to have something once a week. we are all on this journey, just sometimes we have different paths. I’m working on my leaf garland. Having to go to the park to collect leaves since I have no trees off my own. Would love to hear what you and Carla have to say about children, aging, stresses, getting things done. I’m thinking of making Christmas cookies in dough balls and freezing them this year to help with the last minute frenzied times.
I love, love everything about your channel! And look forward to Sunday’s to see what you have for us! We could be sisters; our tastes are so much alike! I live in South Georgia but my heart is in New England! And I think a collaboration would be wonderful…another glimpse into New England🥰🥰🥰
Linda, you’re so fun! 😂 Willow didn’t mind the burnt pieces. Luv the portraits wearing eye masks and especially the young girl with witches hat and broom. Loved Willow giving you a kissy in the garden. Thanks for the nice newsletter also. Take care and enjoy the season. ❤️🙏🍂🍁🦉🎃🐾🇺🇸
You are so much fun, Linda! Hehe, you scared me there for a second. The stew looked great. The colors in your yard are magnificent. Sounds like some fun plans ahead w/ your channel, can’t wait! 🫶🏻
Omg!!! I thought you lost your mind there for a second and just started drawing on your expensive artwork, the queen!! And with a sharpie! Holy cow, you had me! 😮😂
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh, my heart almost stopped.. haha Love the masks, and especially love the 3d broom and witch hat on the little girl. I am going to try that for sure! Yes stew, pot roast and tamale pie are my fall go to favorites! And anything woth Carla would be great. She has the sweetest , gentle spirit... like having a friend visit me.
Awww, what a relaxing, inspirational, diverse video this is. I love seeing the mixture of topics, which you frequently have in a video, and I also love watching a single topic come to fruition. I guess I'm no help on the choices, Linda.🙃😉 I am sure you are enjoying a beautiful, Autumn day. 🍃🍁🌿🍂🌾🧡💛💚
Love the idea of you and Carla doing something. I follow you both and have learned so much. I love anything New England. Our son and family live in Lancaster NH.
Love the masks on your adopted ancestors, but I especially liked the witch girl, so much fun! I make split pea soup when cool weather arrives. I laughed out loud when you showed the burnt pankcakes and it was so much fun watching you using them as frisbees!
Your beef stew looks great. That is definitely on my list for fall comfort cooking. I also make a curried butternut squash and apple soup and apple crisp or apple fritters.
Linda, I love watching your channel and seeing what your up too. I love gardening, cooking, decorating too. It would be fun to hear you and your friend chat about the same things we are all interested in. Aging, depression at times with aging. Recipes. Etc.
OMG, Linda, at first I though you were actually drawing right onto Queen Bess! Love the masks on the portraits in the dining room. Another enjoyable episode. The little fox is adorable. I'd be interested in your proposed project with your friend.
I always look so forward to yours and Carla’s videos, my favorite channels! Would love to see you both together just talking about real life and any topic. Look forward to any new ideas. Thank you again for sharing your stories with us always a pleasure to watch. Stay safe and well and God bless.
I would love to hear more about starting an online store as well as see more travel around New England especially during the fall season! 🍁🍁🍁 I have shared your channel with friends and family and everyone is hooked! Thank you!!
Linda, I want to thank you for the term kindred spirits. I have adopted it, given you credit for it, and just this last weekend it came alive as I participated at a meet and greet at a 1780's home. My participation was to teach cooking over an open hearth and in a bee hive bake oven. Oh and later we gathered and feasted on what was cooked. Everyone of the people I met and was privileged to meet agreed to being Kindred Spirits. We are out there and thank you for your channel and your sharing.
Linda, I just want to tell you how much I enjoyed this video. I adore your portraits with the whimsical masks. Also I like the idea of a podcast with your friend and would love to hear everything about New England. The food, the different plants that you can grow up there, (I'm from the South, NC). Specific recipes that are staples, just everything. Well, it's almost 6pm and I am waiting it out until 7 to try and get a Christmas box. Wish me luck.
I think she is my favorite. I had to do her differently since I did not realize the glass was so far from the artwork and looked funny. That hat and broom seemed like a fun thing to do.
Hi Linda. I don't listen to podcasts much but I would love a private link to a video once a month. It would be great to hear funny stories, serious chats, aging, homemaking, tours you go on together, etc. Not so much the business side. Thanks for asking! P.S. Also home tours of other homes in New England.
Always a great time watching your videos. We recently moved back to New England and are so happy. Your videos were especially meaningful while we were away for a few years.
I think it would be fun to have the two of you together chatting. I like all of of the possible topics. Living in the south, it is a treat to see THE New England area, your regional cooking, and homes.
I first thought you were drawing too on the picture, shook me a little bit I thought you must have good reason for a great DIY! Lol 😂enjoyed the video and I would love watching you and Carla podcast! ❤ So blessed to be living in a beautiful area and have great friends! Have a peaceful Autumn Day! 🍁 🍂 🎃 oh! On Halloween I’m listening to your ghost story again! 👻 I enjoyed that!
Dear Linda; I enjoyed todays show . One of my favorite foods in the world is Concord grapes and the short season makes them even more delicious. I love the brilliant orange vest Willow wears , so important with hunting seasons. Dont forget yoursef too when dressing for outdoor activities ❤
I have changed my recipe for a stew. I don't use flour to thinken the sauce. I use tomato paste in a tube. It is making the sauce taste real nice. My favorite fall recipe is onion soup. It is such a confort food and a wonderful lunch for me.
You made me laugh, imagine that you're human, burnt hockey pucks, I loved the frisbee throw. I think the pod cast sounds wonderful, any of the subjects you suggested would be great.
Another wonderful video. The masks on the ancestors are so neat. Having a kinded spirit video group would be awesome. I think an array of topics discussed would be so valuable. We are all in different stages of our journey and you never know when something will prove valuable at some point as we move through our journey. ❤
Well. I'm absolutely new here as I only found you 5 minutes ago, but you are clearly my kind of person.I'm a 70 year old grandmother but am still enjoying many of joys of childhood and proud to be so.
Linda, I would absolutely LOVE any collaboration between you and Carla. Both of you have such great videos and I enjoy just about everything that the two of you do! Those of us who live in this beautiful part of New Hampshire are very lucky …..there are so many things to enjoy, especially at this time of year! I just love the painting of the little girl with her witchy hat and broom. So cute! Thanks for another wonderful video.🍂🎃🍂
Linda, I love your channel, I try to always remember to give a thumbs up. 👍🏻 Recently just learned, commenting and watching the ads helps too. I’m not familiar with Carlas channel yet, sounds like double the fun, to me.😊 Love to watch crafting ideas for the holidays, recipes, canning, hm tips or just girl talk. Recently my daughter had canned pickles for the first time. And they were amazing, compared to prepackaged store bought, how we forget. Unfortunately most of us do not have time for a fresh garden or canning. Honestly Linda, you are an amazing story teller, I’d love to listen to some historical stories. Facts or fiction. 🎃 Looking forward to seeing what you girls decide. And thank you, for sharing your stew recipe with us, along With the cute Halloween ideas, including the little trick or treat, with the lovely Queen! 😅
Such a cute idea! I want to THANK YOU SO MUCH LINDA ! My Hubby and I took a marvelous trip to Newport RI . We just got back a week ago.We took in all the sights, great eats, great history. We shared our 51 st. Wedding Anniversary at the White Horse Tavern. Thank you for taking a day ,and video taping your travel to this wonderful, friendly, clean, full of history, and glamorous mansions of the Gilded Ages. The only (down fall )was,No direct flights from Delta to Providence that week. We had 4 connected flights, which was a bit of a challenge at our age. Thank you warmly from Minnesota!
Linda, I look forward to each new episode of your fabulous channel! You always create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! Watching your shows feels like being wrapped in a cozy blanket and enjoying a delicious warm cup of tea with you! I feel like you’re a dear friend and wish you were my neighbor! Please keep producing! A big fan on the east coast
What a great video! Love the masks and all the other fun things! I think your collaboration with your friend would be great and no matter what you talk about would be interesting! As a born and raised Massachusetts gal, I’d be very interested in your New England thoughts.
Loved the video!! Grandkids spent the night at Nana's for breakfast I made waffles. After kids were eating I started a waffle for myself. Well after about 15 minutes I remembered my waffle. It was hard as a rock and the kids and I went outside and played Frisbee. We had alot of fun !!! Thank you for the memory!! ❤
Such a fun video Linda, love the masks on your pictures, made me hoot with laughter the pancakes! Good of you to share normality we all do it. Fall treats for me are homemade cinnamon buns yummy. The collaboration sounds interesting, I like the sound of your daughters jewellery, something from Sugarwood is the nearest I would get to NE, will there be more information on her channel?… ☺️
I have to say I did laugh at the burnt pancakes , I thought been there done that! And how fun to make frisbee’s out of them ! And would love to hear you & Carla chit chat about getting older and homemaking , great idea
I love your ways of keeping your inner child happy! I do my own versions of that - including recently re-reading a favourite childhood book, "Miss Happiness and Miss Flower," by Rumer Godden, in which children make a Japanese doll house for two Japanese dolls, and it helps an orphan assimilate into a new family and country..... I made a miniature Japanese garden using tiny seedling trees, tiny flowering violet plants, moss, gravel, pebbles and interesting stones, as well as a little ceramic bonsai bridge, and an antique porcelain Chinoiserie pagoda.
For you saying you had attention deficit disorder and dyslexia, you are doing very well. Love your videos. Love your style. The teacher , who gave you the 4 manger figures years ago, saw something special in you. You have exquisite taste. Just continue to be you. ❤
I loved seeing that sweet little girl turned into a sweet littleWitch!!!I read some comments and would love to see you and Carla get together. I especially liked the comment about thoughts of ladies that are past the young children phase of their lives. Like the other comment, I do enjoy some of those UA-cam's but it is a world with different prorities.
You are one of my favorite “creatives” Linda. I about had a heart attack when I thought you were actually drawing black sharpie on Queen Bess! 😱 What a clever idea to subtly add seasonal effects to a classic and elegant home, I NEVER would have thought to do that. It’s one of my favorite things about your channel, you inspire a side of me I am most of the time disconnected to because I am too practical and hyper focused on the work of homecare and family care to be able to enjoy. You inspire me to enjoy, and I appreciate it. We eat a soup or stew pretty much every week from October 1st to March 31st, then we take a break for the summer months so we are able to crave soups and stews again when the weather turns cold here in Upstate NY.
I make soups and stews. My stew recipe is an old one and so very very good! It is so tasty that it is the only recipe I use. Chili is one we like too. Also, ham and bean soup. So good on chilly and cold days! Veggie soup too!
Linda the idea of you and Carla talking together is a fantastic idea! I am also so excited to receive your Christmas in a box! Thanks so much for all of your wonderful content!❤😊
Would love to watch a podcast with you and Carla on all of the topics you just discussed. Perhaps even Shannon getting a guest interview. What I would really love in the future, is for you and Carla to host a weekend at an old New Hampshire inn, and share stories about that State, perhaps even creating a floral arrangement to take home (you both enjoy making them), and tips on decor.
That is something I was thinking about for sure and we would not have to twist Carla's arm at all since we have chatted about something like that in the past.
Linda, thank you for another great video. You are so creative and engaging with your audience. As a new subscriber, I look forward to your weekly videos. They are a work of art. Your ideas, music selections, and cinematography are the best. God bless you and all your endeavors. Robert.
I had just put on a pot of vegetable beef soup this morning and then sit down to watch your video. We’ve had some chilly rainy days here and I still have some yard work to get done before the holidays. I loved the idea of decorating your art work. My favorite is the little girl with her witch’s hat and broom. I would love for you and Carla to do a podcast. I watch both your channels and just love them. I think it’s a great idea!
Carla and Linda conversing...YES! Talking getting older, homemaking, interior decor....YES!
Yes, a collaboration with your friend would be welcome!
Great! Thank you for your input
I thought you were drawing on the picture I just about freaked out. I don’t know why but your music makes me want to watch Outlander. Enjoy the day.
I was right with you RaeC! I actually yelled at the video😂
@@MrsKuhn.2 I thought she lost her mind 😂
Me too!!!! I lost my breath.
My anxiety level went through the roof!!!😅Love the end result, though❤
Me too!! Lol!!
I love the idea of listening to you and your friends chat! Especially topics for our age group as so many of the channels I find are younger women with little kids, which are interesting but not my stage of life anymore.
So thank you!
I love the touch of whimsy with the masks on the portraits- so unexpected but perfect!
How about a pirate eye patch next year?
Linda, I love the idea of you and Carla sharing your "take" on how you are handling your lives, both the ups, downs and the in betweens. My circle of women friends gather once a week to share, support, create and help each other (in addition to playing mahjong & eating) I honestly feel that the give and take we share, keeps us sane or at least grounded. Our motto is "women hold up the sky" and I for one think your idea is a perfect way to share our wisdom.
Love that!
I caught a video of Carla's a couple of days ago maybe and heard her mention that she was shopping during her video with her friend, Linda. I wondered if it was you. I was FLIPPING OUT with anxiety when I saw you drawing on that piece of art with a permanent marker😂 DYING INSIDE! Haha thank you for the laugh, and the relief 😮💨
Me too! 😯 I though the same when I saw Linda drawing in permanent marker on Queen Bess! Wow! So glad she only had plastic coving over her!
Linda, I always look forward to your Sunday videos, I feel as if I have actually been to your home, so beautiful and relaxing and soothing. I love your masked ancestors! ❤️
I'm so glad and I love virtually sharing our home with you!
I was so thrilled that you showed the fox I sent to you and your family on your channel. It truly made my heart sing. I find so much enjoyment watching and learning from you.
Kindred spirit, Becky.
Thank you again Becky!!!

Thank you so much for the feedback!! Carla and I have so many ideas it will be fun!
Sugar wood is so beautiful in the Fall! Loved seeing Willow playing pancake frisbee!
I love the idea of you chatting about life and "It's a New England Thing"
Absolutely "spooktacular"! I love how your inner child has fun too...
P.S...Becky that little fox was sooo stinkin adorable how sweet of you❤
I am all about putting fun into one everyday life. You are so easy to resonate with.
The yard looks like a painting! 🖌️ Gorgeous...!

OH MY GOODNESS I THOUGHT YOU LOST YOUR MIND😮
What a relief!!!!😅
LOL! I lose it many other times, but not when it comes to the queen or our other artwork.
Love the idea of you and Carla doing something. I follow you both and have learned so much. I love anything New England. Our son and family live in Lancaster NH.

Those of us who live in this beautiful part of New Hampshire are very lucky …..there are so many things to enjoy, especially at this time of year! I just love the painting of the little girl with her witchy hat and broom. So cute! Thanks for another wonderful video.🍂🎃🍂
LINDA! 😮 MY heart stopped when I saw you "drawing" on the queen!! 😂 SILLY GIRL...The panic was REAL!
❤Washington State🌲🍁🤎🍂🧡🍁♥️
You were not alone! I did not think of that panic it would cause LOL
Linda, I love your channel, I try to always remember to give a thumbs up. 👍🏻
Recently just learned, commenting and watching the ads helps too.
I’m not familiar with Carlas channel yet, sounds like double the fun, to me.😊
Love to watch crafting ideas for the holidays, recipes, canning, hm tips or just girl talk.
Looking forward to seeing what you girls decide. And thank you, for sharing your stew recipe with us, along
With the cute Halloween ideas, including the little trick or treat, with the lovely Queen! 😅
And Mrs t great idea for the masks again they look so good
What a beautiful property!
I always love learning from others. Please fill us in on all the things you do.
Anything you have to share with Carla would be so fun!
LOL Yay you! they will always remember that.
I have asked her to share her jewelry making. Her channel is new and she is right now sharing her foraging, trips, digging, etc.
A podcast will be wonderful
A combination of everything
Life, aging, meals, anything really
With both of you win win situation
Love to follow you whatever you do. Thanks
I have to say I did laugh at the burnt pancakes , I thought been there done that! And how fun to make frisbee’s out of them ! And would love to hear you & Carla chit chat about getting older and homemaking , great idea
Thank you!
As a fellow New Englander, I am thrilled to have found your channel!🍂🍁🤎🧡Lovely inspiring video. Looking forward to watching more.
Thank you!! 😊
So sweet of you to remember Mrs. Cassidy and her comment.
Yes, love the chat idea!
I have two very favorite UA-camrs. You are one of them. I love how you love your home. It alone could be a full time job. Thank You
I loved seeing that sweet little girl turned into a sweet littleWitch!!!I read some comments and would love to see you and Carla get together. I especially liked the comment about thoughts of ladies that are past the young children phase of their lives. Like the other comment, I do enjoy some of those UA-cam's but it is a world with different prorities.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! That will be helpful for us
I have been in Connecticut all my life.
Yes that would be fun to see time with your friend.
I love how you decorated the artwork. What a marvellous idea! Podcast..Yes please!!! On everything😊
How fun for the season.🥰
Linda, I absolutely love your UA-cam channel! I have been watching for several years. The content is always fresh and practical. Thank you! ❤
Combination of the two sounds like fun
Would love to watch a podcast with you and Carla on all of the topics you just discussed. Perhaps even Shannon getting a guest interview. What I would really love in the future, is for you and Carla to host a weekend at an old New Hampshire inn, and share stories about that State, perhaps even creating a floral arrangement to take home (you both enjoy making them), and tips on decor.
That is something I was thinking about for sure and we would not have to twist Carla's arm at all since we have chatted about something like that in the past.
I love the idea of a little time together on a video. The idea of humorous thoughts in aging is great!
I’m praying I get to order the Christmas box before it’s sold out! 🙏🏻🙏🏻I’m waiting and I’m ready! Lol
Hats off to you Linda I love the way your turning your pictures all a little spooky! Way to celebrate!
Linda, thank you for another great video. You are so creative and engaging with your audience. As a new subscriber, I look forward to your weekly videos. They are a work of art. Your ideas, music selections, and cinematography are the best. God bless you and all your endeavors. Robert.
Robert... Linda has been doing videos for years so do yourself a favor and binge watch them .
@@tammyhoushour8070 Tammy, I will. Since I live in New York City, Linda's videos are a
"Breath of New England Country Air". Thanks for sharing.
