What a magnificent performance of Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in A minor, Sebastian. I was greatly impressed with your playing, technique, interpretation and musical ability. I trust you will continue to place on UA-cam further performances of you playing the organ to enable others to appreciate not only what you can do as an organist, but introduce to a wide, young audience the wonder, joy, and happiness that organ music can bring, particularly when played by one with your ability and insight. Through you others may be encouraged to learn a musical instrument, particularly the organ.
Good video. Great to hear organ in St. Thomas. You have a profound talent and no doubt edified with a lot of practice. Thank you for sharing your art with us!!
Very good. Only one problem: it's way too fast. What's the rush? You should savor those sounds. Here is what I think is the best performance of this fugue.
An interesting rendition of this magnificent piece. However, the sound sucks. And the best version ever? Not by a long shot! The organist is no match for Nicholas Danby, at least in this work. The best aspect of this performance is the tempo of the fugue, although it might be just a bit too fast.
Bach is smiling! I am as well! I enjoyed your phrasing, dynamics and passion! I also enjoyed watching you!
A stellar performance. Sebastian never fails to impress. Bach would approve!

Sehr fantasievoll! Danke
Wow. WOW!! Yes, I see it now. Very interesting and refreshing interpretation, surely, final chords are played the way it would make Bach himself smile
As an organist, I would be absolutely terrified to play in St. Thomas. It would be like the performance exam from Hell. lol
A truly amazing talent - very well done Sebastian! Thanks for uploading.
This is astonishing! The speed. The memory. The registration. The triple manuals. The Cantor must be smiling :)
There are 4 manual ??
@@gambe96 but he uses only 3 diferent manuals
Bach's ability to improvise with themes, is nothing short of legendary and magnificent. He is the Kingpin of classical music.

This performance is blazing. The themes are clear. The footwork amazing. This is very fine.

This young man is a genius
The truth... is self-evident. Yea! on this young titian.
Vilen Dank!
I would enjoy the fugue more if it was a little slower
Sempre 👏👏👏
OMG !!! ❤
👏👏👏
Sebastian, why is it so difficult for most organists to conclude the last chord as the composer wanted it, the way you played it?
GG
