Dear friends,
I am currently working as Scale I officer in PNB. cleared IBPS in 2017 . She has shared details but Still I would like to share some more important points which she has missed.
1) wear a proper dress , specially formal. Colour should not be irritating. Simple , gentle that looks like you are serious about interview.
2) Always respond them with a genuine smile with proper eye contact which shows your confidence.
3) listen them carefully
4) Be correct while responding otherwise they will provide you the correct answer and accept their answers politely.
5) Don't expect that they will ask a particular type of questions . So it's hard to prepare for interview. It's your inner quality which will reflect there.So be genuine . This does not mean you should behave like YO Yo honey Singh.
6) Gain some knowledge about recent current affairs.
7) It's not necessary to speak always in English. whatever you speak it must be clear and to the point. But if you consider English it would be a lead. If they start speaking in hindi then don't try to show your English. Always try to respond in the same language in which questions is being asked.
8) if they ask anything other than bookish questions , then don't take it lightly. Respond it with seriousness and with data. Relate it with banking.
9) There is nothing to worry about time gap. Everyone knows about current scenario of unemployment. Even if they ask end your answer with a positive note.
10) Don't be nervous while responding, they are not demons . It's easy to say but it will be sorted out after you do interaction with more people in your personal life.
11) Maintain your voice level. It should be polite and audible.
12) There is nothing shame if u don't know the answer of any question. All they expect from you that you have acknowledged the things that you don't know. Simply apologize that you don't know the answer. and will try to get the things. That's it.
13) If you want to face mock interview with any other institutions or person. Then don't be confident that you have done lots of practice for interview. I have done this. And for me the scenario was completely different. Each interviewer is different from other. So everyone has different aspects to look at the things. So do mock interview but don't be over confident.
And at last,
Preparation of interview is not like preparation of pre or mains. It's about you, who you are, how you are, what you are, what you do...
They are far more intelligent than you...try to show your intelligence only to present yourself not to fool them...
