I grew up (and still have) a tub/shower that has glass doors. For years, i never squeegeed (?) the door and soap scum is super hard to get off so id recommend hanging up a squeegee in the shower. I use a command hook that has a clear backing and a thin silver hook that matches my bathroom really well to keep it out of the way. So id super recommend getting a squeegee before using the shower! love the vlog!!!
I honestly love the warm tone it's very inviting and more cozy, for more sit down videos you could always use a ring light

Sometimes with those lights you can adjust the color temp. There might be a control you click where it attaches up in the ceiling. Ask your building maintenance.

I'm impressed with the shower too. Its definitely a larger bathroom space.
I prefer divided sink basen for the fact I have a specific dish washing method that requires two separate sides. Dirty dishes in one then soaped up dishes on the other side for rinsing.

It’s a mud room that space it’s where you drop off your outside stuff like shoes wet coats etc
You could put the TV on the wall with the pantry on it, then couch facing it (but not pressed against wall). So you would walk between the couch and the wall to the door to the patio
My couch doesn’t back up to a walk and it doesn’t look odd!
I think you should stick with the decor on that wall and not a desk because the desk takes up so much room and I think that decor will just tie it in and those are your fav tooo
U could put the shelves one on each side of ur couch.. a suggestion.

Do whatever makes you happy! You spend a lot of time in your home, so it should make you happy to be there. If practical makes you happy, do it. If pretty and decorative makes you happy, do it! Btw, what color bar stools are you getting? I LOVE your new apartment 🥰

The little storage bench area is called a mudroom :)
Heads up on hanging wet towels behind a door...if the door rests on the towels if they are wet the wood of the door can get warped and stained.

Could you do a video about how you found your apartment and or what sites and sources you used! I’m having such a hard time finding anything good in Phoenix!
Ive done one in the past!! i think in 2022? but i always use apartments.com
Is that an induction stove? If it is, you might need to be investing in different pots and pans. I have heard that an induction stove needs metal pots and pans. And that it won’t stay turned on unless the pot/pan is actually on the stove.
What I would do: sell your bed and buy a daybed that can double as a couch. Make your living room into your sleeping and living space. Then make the bedroom into your office, with all of your supplies, etc. Then I would put the dresser in the closet . I think it will fit if you can move out one of the lower hanging rails. That way, in my opinion, you have a better division of life/work spaces. And also an easier way to determine square footage for your taxes, as you are self-employed, and can deduct part of your rent because you work from home.

I love your bookshelves in the space between the kitchen and living area. I also think the foldable desk in front of the bathroom is a cool idea but could be inconvenient depending on what all you like to keep on your desk. Loving the apartment!!!!!
92 degrees in Phoenix this morning! Highs today 110! We will likely break the all time record of consecutive days with highs at or above 110 degrees! So far 10 consecutive days occurred! All time record 18 days set in june 1974! No relief anytime soon im afraid to say!

If you do change the bulb in the bathroom, please make sure you buy one that says it's suitable for above a shower! Most aren't completely sealed and are only suitable for in the bathroom but not above a shower

Open sinks with no divider are really nice, you could look for a rack to put at the bottom of the sink so that when you’re doing dishes, food scraps can fall down into the drain easier. You can even find drying racks to put on one side of the sink too

This apartment looks smaller. If yes, how much smaller is it by square feet?
im not sure how much smaller. the main part thats smaller is theres not dining room but it hasnt been an issue for me so far
