Thanks for another great video Laura and Grant. It was interesting for sure. Grant was dumping corn over the side of the trailer and Laura was doing everything she could to get his attention to stop. Oh my!!!!! Grant, get the shovel out. Quite a bit of corn on the ground. Happens. Been there done that myself. Hauling corn to the corn plant is a interesting plant to go to. See sometime if we can get a tour of their plant. Lots of Nebraska corn going there at usually reasonable prices. Keep on trucking Laura!!!!!!!!!! You are doing great. Thanks for everything Laura. The kittens are really growing. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve. Forgot. Thanks for doing the harvest videos right away and putting them on line for us. Thanks.
Loved it when you said "Come on, man" as he sheepishly throws up his hands like "What?" Living vicariously through you guys, really miss the farm work.
Laura, you mentioned in the video that you might try to do a tour of the ethanol plant. That would be awesome to see how its processed from beginning to end and what they do with the by product. Thanks for another great videos, kittens are cute for sure.
I worked at an ADM processing plant here in Clinton, IA. When I see an ethanol plant like the one you just unloaded at it brings back lots of memories. That wet feed load out is what we used to call guano or wet feed. It contains all the left over from processing and is high in protein, you mix it with silage to feed. cattle like it, I don't because it smells. our brand was called golden gluten. We unloaded trucks all day long (400) and did rail at night. We ground about 300,00 bu/day. That is a lot of corn and is a big market for the farmer. So, when we say we appreciate all that a farmer does is true.
Laura, I can't imagine you ever being grumpy, even after driving all day. You and Grant both have such a wonderful personality, that's what makes these videos so special. Keep them coming, we enjoy going along for the ride.
We have a camera mounted on the unloader spout, which makes filling trailers much easier. Cant say we never have a spill on the move, but at least you know you are doing it!
Thanks L&G appreciate You Two!! Wow That Was Some Twisted Laying Down Corn That's Gotta Be Rough and Tough On The Combine Picking The Corn Off The Ground!! Keep Smiling On!! 😄👍👊❤️
Thank U for being a KITTY LOVER and showing off your Babys at the end… My Baby girl of 14 years Passed away back on the 5th of September 😢… Take care of them , Love them , & Spoil them , They WILL return all that love🥲 when U are tired & need Fuzzy love 👍…
I have a Fall special right now on Crazy Cat Lady Expand-O-Kits.. they come in a variety of colors and patterns. I even have some that look like your white sox models. I feed dry food only, and its between 100 to 120 lbs/mo.. All thanks to someone who dropped off 3 prego black cats, about 4 yrs ago. These are all outside cats, because I'm allergic to them, especially Fall, when the ragweed kicks in. Love y'all ❤️!
I grew up in a farming town in Missouri. Carrollton is a town along the Missouri River so as you know, a Lot of farm ground in the river bottoms. My first 50 years was sharing the highways with farming equipment, farm trucks, and seeing kids a couple years early driving farm equipment. It’s a life that I’ll always be grateful for living! There’s No life like Farm life!!
I live watching you guys every day. With all the bad news it’s reassuring to know there are young people out there working hard, making. A living and cementing the future of this country. God bless you both!
How are you Laura this video was really cool I loved it look at these strange clouds we are almost there Laura just 12000 more subscribersthe kittens are beautiful
Grants seem to be losing something he didn't care he dumped. Laura, you have such a good outlook on every single video. I do mean all of them. That's why most come back. Thank you. Grant is getting caught up in the money. It happens. He needs a refresher course on the value of what he has. not in a mean way look, love & be at home.. take it from someone who wasted a lot of time & money. regreatville can creep in. You both are awesome people it seems. Tell Grant thanks for getting up.
Laura just food for thought you have a lot of technology that makes farming more efficient every year as a farm kid many many years ago we had to hand pick our end rows so the tractor could turn around with the picker that the tractor pulled around torture. Thinking about how things improved over time, you ought to do interviews with your grandfather and dad and get an insight on now vs then. Would like to hear how technology 15:01 technology
Love your videos! You mentioned imposters, Someone commented on one of my comments, claiming to be you. You are a one of a kind! The highlight is, imitation is the highest level of a compliment!
❤ 11:26 Thank You! for acknowledging scammers are *not your* responsibility to kill .. I hate to think you good folks spend *any time* combatting them 👍😎✊
I confess, when you first started doing daily postings I wasn't too keen on them. However I have sense come around so that I now look forward to my daily dose of Laura Farms. It reminded me of how much I loved working on a farm/ranch, and how much that I cherished work with my grandfather on his places. I thank you for remaining steadfast to your commitment. I can appreciate how much time and effort that you all put into it. I haven't been involved in the full process of bringing a video together, I have only worked on the back half of the production and man alive there is a truck load of work that goes into creating content. I am sure that as time has gone on that you all have learned what you can do prior to each stage of recording your day, and editing and posting of your video to take steps ahead of taping and during taping that makes it better and more efficient in each stage, as well as throughout the entire process. I tip my hat to you all. For me it can be a chore to get the post watched fir each video. My days can be very busy, so to fit an entire time slot for a whole video can take some doing. It is always worth it. Thank you, one and all.
Of course the kittens are getting chubby!!! When was the last time you saw a mouse, lizard, cricket, grasshopper, or a wild leaf floating around, they are really cute
I see u had some wind downing your stalks. I live about 26 miles from Des Moines Iowa. On August 10 ,2021 we had 112 mph winds (called a deratio storm. All the corn around us were flat as a pancake. Traveled 2-3 miles north of us the wind stopped blowing, all the corn was standing. Amazing !! Cedar Rapids winds of over 116 mph. It used to have a lot of trees !! Some people said they were without power for 7-10 days !!
Thanks Laura just because i had a bad experience w/Chief doesn't mean you made a poor choice. They will treet you well untill they don't. Keep on truckin
Back in the 80’s when I helped a guy farm we planted some corn one year for one of the guys we rented land from and we used the bean header to combine the corn, because we didn’t have a corn header. I was thinking that you and Grant might want to use your bean header on the fields that has blown down corn. Love the videos, keep them coming. I don’t think I’ve missed any. Love you guys
I retired from Offutt AFB in Omaha quite a few years ago. Watching your channel makes me regret that my travels never took me west of Lincoln. Enjoy following farm life through your channel. And my wife absolutely adores the kittens!!!
I love the every day content. Even when its on my birthday the 18th so great bday gift thanks laura farms and grant for the entertainment keep it coming
Laura you are a hoot! I'm a retired farmer/banker and watching your channel brings back lots of fond memories to savor. Your getting lots of immitators BUT - there is ONLY ONE LAURA FARMS! You have a great personality Laura (and Grant is not too bad either). 😊
The kittens are so cute. I remember having a foster family of kittens and how fun it was to have them climb. It has to end though as they gain weight and length of claws. The one I adopted from the litter sometimes doesn't realize she is no longer a kitten and it TOO heavy to climb or jump on my back especially with no shirt on or even a light TShirt.
I always enjoy your videos and today I happen to be wearing my Laura Farms tee shirt. My daughter’s cat is named Pepper but she only likes my daughter, grandson and my daughter’s boyfriend. I have discussed with Pepper that I buy her food, toys and litter and she really should be nicer to me but she just ignores me, lol. She loves them like crazy so I don’t mind.
I drove truck for 38 years and I was grumpy probably more than I thought. God bless my wife and kids! Yeah , there's a comaradere of truck drivers. Even if half of them are part time and farmers all the time. That leftover grain from the ethanol plant? Is that toxic? Or is that going to feed cows and pigs? Don't laugh! There's loads of grain going to breweries around here in PA that eventually gets turned to "" mash ""and then is picked up and brought to farmers for feed. Pretty much all of the corn and soybeans around here go to feed, flour and breweries. Not sure if we have any ethanol plants nearby. Thanks for closing with the kittens. Yes, we're here for the kitties! Gonna stink when they move out!
Wow, great running speed, do you do anything slowly? Hopefully that helps keep your head clear and spirits high. Your videos definitely bring my joy and a smile. Ground corn is surly worse then cab corn.
Hi Laura and Grant. If you want Your Peterbilt 389 get it now. They are stopping 389 production after this mode year and swiching to a newer Model. If you are ever passing thru Tulsa Oklahoma stop at peterbilt steves. Don't know if he has any used ones. He does A lot of custom work on trucks .
Oh my gosh dinky little Laura 😍, just love ❤️ the narrative is so very natural and the passion in your chosen field (hehehe excuse 😜 the pun). Flows like a river from the mountains to the sea and the rainbow 🌈 of special people and places in between ❤.
When you were at the ethanol plant and you showed the john deere combine passing you to go to the local field. You could have commented that the combine head had the down corn reel type head on it
I worked for Chief about 30 years ago in their automotive frame machine division. Everyone I ever dealt with in the office were great. Cool to see the company is still like that.
So enjoy watching your videos. One fall many years ago I helped my father in law by driving a Farm truck to haul silage. Brings back memories of my time helping out on the farm. My husband and your grandpa were roommates at Trinity College in Illinois for a semester….that’s how I found you on UA-cam!

Laura, you mentioned in the video that you might try to do a tour of the ethanol plant. That would be awesome to see how its processed from beginning to end and what they do with the by product. Thanks for another great videos, kittens are cute for sure.

I can imagine her flipping out over a dirty sock accidentally droped in the hallway by Grant.

Laura and Grant sorry to see your corn field is so damaged, not only loss of corn but difficult to harvest and risk of damage to the combine.
Laura? Grumpy?
INCONCEIVABLE!
😊👍👍
I like the idea of a scale, pit combination 👌
Great video! "C'mon man"!😅 My OCD peeked as I noticed your Stellar fuel trailer has a brake light out😁. Blame it on Grant.

Put the corn reel on that head. Make up installation time by going through the down corn and doing a cleaner job.
Not a farmer, but ❤ you guys (especially the kittens)!😁
warms my heart to see young people taking an interest in farming! Best of luck in harvest, yes down corn sucks, stay safe!
Enjoyed watching the video Laura and Grant 😊
13:07 “Come on, man. Unreal!” 😂 ❤❤❤ … 🙏 for more 🐈 🐈 🐈 coverage
One of the reasons Laura Farms is so popular is your presentation is just spot on.
Love seeing pepper and the kid's Laura 😊
enjoy watching the hard work in farming.. sick of giant corporations taking over. You are the best.
Laura, you are a sweet kitten, just as lovable. I remember the year you had corn on the roof of the cab, I think it is pay back time. I hope my thought are correct and you are making a good profit this year. The video title did worry me a bit.
Love from Mike. ❤❤
I would love to see a video of the ethanol plant.
It's so cute to see your face light up when you meet up with the farm pets, especially with your kittens. It is heart warming to see folks who love their animals, even if they are more farm animals than pets. They truly just want love, and to love in return.
Beautiful tuxedo cats.. there so cute.
Good morning Sunshine! Nice to see your pleasant and warm smile again this morning. Love the kitten shots with them scampering here and there in their white socks. I could see that you were tired today, especially by days end but you kept up the charge ahead and toughed out another long day. I can't believe you ran 4+ miles, but on the other hand, I wasn't surprised. Your drive and activity level is what keeps you so slim and lean. I loved seeing you at the end with the kitten mountain comment. Those looked like bell bottom jeans and I haven't seen them in years. You looked fantastic in them, of course you always look fantastic Laura. Grant looked tired as well. I hope you two got a good nights sleep so were charged up for today. Have a great day and be safe. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Thanks 4 the great harvest vids.. enjoy them.. some areas of corn is a hot mess..lol..mother nature was humorous on that.. get the shovel on grants mess lol..good day and harvesting..😂
Need to advertise the nail salon you use. Great work ladies !
My impulse to the spilled corn is get out there with a snow shovel and tweezers and get it in some trailer😊
Kittens are just spectacular!
I love the videos of the harvest process from here in the U.K, seeing the day to day adventures, and behind the scenes as well. Keep them coming regards Chris Jones.
I love all your videos, including the kitten one, too😂😂
