Ok this may sound..... naive. I had no idea you could reuse your oil like this. This will save us and maybe we will make fish or chicken more than once or twice a year. Thank-you for sharing. Have a wonderful day!!! AMB.... Rose

      Oh goodness yes.
You just need to make sure it’s cleaned. Because by the time your done everything is cooked and safe.
The amount of times restaurants use the fryers would blow your mind and how often they actually clean them.

I always knew restaurants did but you pretty much can tell that because a lot of times you can taste it in the meal, but I figured a day or two at the most. A whole year is awesome because quite honestly I don't eat a ton of deep fried goods either, but I do love me some deep fried chicken or shrimp all Asian styled up. Thank-you again and big hugs to you.

When I worked at a place, we made tons of chicken an only changed the oil twice a week.

I never even thought of using a coffee filter to strain used cooking oil, it's always the simplest things lol. Good video 😃👍

I notice when I do fish n chips (yum!) the oil has a fish smell. Do u reuse your oil for other items or is it now for fish only?

I have never noticed a fish smell to my oil. Maybe it depends on what kind of oil you use.
I will use it for any meat.

If you fry potato chips after the fish it should remove any Odour and clean the fat. At least that’s what I was always told.

Oh no be careful with crisco, too much trans fat can cause heart disease. Take care of yourself
