Hi, I am British, and I am so proud that we invented this bad ass rifle. Magazines can also be loaded into the rifle, so you don't need to waste time on the battlefield with stripper clips. Also, the bolt has an internal spring attached , which makes it rather quick to pull back the bolt, giving you the opportunity to almost turn the rifle into a semi automatic.
The spring doesn't help to rack the bolt, it cock the striker. The spring only pushes the bolt backward if the gun is already cocked, wish it isn't after you fired. One thing that make the action of the Enfield faster than other bolt action of it's time is because it's cock on close which is mechanically faster to operate, and the bolt has a 60° rotation compared to the 90° of typical bolt action of this time.
I’m all about modern warfare, but something about those old time rifles with a bayonet hit the soul
Full heartedly agreed
Yeah. Not one, but a lot of souls. Like 16.5 millions souls.
YYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHH
BEST BOLT RIFLE EVER MADE
A beautiful rifle and bayonet. Good shoting! I love the sound of the mag when the bolt picks up a new round to the chamber.
Thank you kindly!

Magazines weren’t intended to be loaded into the rifle, and the noises of the stripper clips are beautiful.

O melhor fuzil de ferrolho da segunda guerra mundial na minha opinião
It’s definitely in the top 3 for me
A brilliant rifle and bayonet, thanks again for making these videos.
Thanks for watching!
Excellent Thomas 🙏👌😉💯❤️
Thank you kindly!
Nice example of the SMLE and ‘ running the bolt ‘ Thomas . 👍
Where was the firearm produced?
Thanks! This one was produced at RSAF Enfield 👍🏻
This guy is used to things like Mausers and Springfields. The SNLE does not require lifting your cheek from the stock to reload.
You’re not wrong, it’s definitely a force of habit
Nice! I have one of those 1907 bayonets, still in great condition, wish I could own the rifle too though.
Damn thats satisfying 😊 another great vid! Keep em coming!
Thank you kindly!
The best British rifle in my collection an I even got a lend and lease gun made at savage.
I was going to subscribe but then I realized I already have 😂
Well I’m glad to have won you over twice!
What a smooth mechanism of this Gun .
Still searching for a bayonet like that!
They’re pretty darn cool!
"HUNS incoming"
In battlefield 5 you can see player shooting this with his middle finger
