Why would you NOT get in the pool? I love being in the pool, to the point that the coaches sometimes have to tell me to get OUT of the pool.
because its cold
is that sacarsm? Or real enthusiasism (sorry i cant spell)
@@weirdskunk Real enthusiasm.
@@seiti1 GOD DAMN you love the sport
i appreciate your dedication. I wanted to hop out from the pool whenever I can. Your enthusiasm and hard work will be appreciated, and will pay off. Good luck on your journey of swimming.
😂If that was a real team, that blonde guy woulda been kicked off the team mid-air before he made it to the pool. Most of my coaches were loud, harsh, good-natured psychopaths. They were delightfully sociopathic.
As a coach and a swimmer, I appreciate this a lot, but can we get one critiquing coaches?

They are great actors I know how everyone appreciates you !
You forgot not finishing at the wall 😂
I’m glad I had coaches who provided sets and encouragement. But I’m REALLY glad that as an adult I don’t have to listen* to bullying, yelling, arbitrarily strict and pushing coaches.
*It even bugs the heck out of me when I hear coaches yelling at their 7-14 year olds down the end of the pool. I hardly ever hear any shouts of encouragement.
As a coach, point number 4 and 10 hits on another level😅
Love the humor 😅😊
This reminds me of when I try to coach my kid.
"My workout hasn't loaded yet
- *WAA WOO CHAA DOO GET IN DA POO* "
Hitting the nail on the head for this coach.
Lately I try to bring it back to teamwork, as in working together so we all get the best intended workout and being a good teammate, which both add up to good sportsmanship, the top priority of being on a “team” and competing.
I try to help my swimmers not waste our precious time in the pool, and as such, waste the effort that they do put in with bad habits that can translate to competition.
It is starting to work.
I’ve just come back from that hotel! When I was there the French Olympic squad was there, I wish I was here to see you guys!
Haha, great video 😎☀️🙏🏼
I can identify with some of the don'ts .... thanks for the video
We: having our amateur fun 😊
Pro coaches: 😤😤😤📢📢📢
I can't belive some people don't listen to their coach xD
Fares you're a legend!
Love this video: Our, too, coach has his unique sayings. We put them all together for his birthday and said them back to him while wearing cardboard masks of his image. Some are: “less talking more swimming,” and “where are you?” and “tempo, tempo, tempo,” and “do what your coach says until you don’t, then do it,” and our favorite, “breathing is overrated.” He is the loveliest person in the universe and the only time I”ve ever heard him yell/whistle is at an idiot kid who gets into our lanes. He loves us to death and I think we work harder because we love and appreciate him.
why would anyone spend money and time with a coach and not do everything they say? I love having a coach. We spend all day, as adults, making 100s of decisions. I feel like a kid when I jump in the pool and all I have to do Is what the coach says. It’s a weight off my shoulders.
Our team often has to battle for more lanes than have been assigned, especially in the winter (only one pool). Several of us get there as early as 20-30 minutes. It has become a great idea. Getting in the pool and just treading water is a warm-up, we swim, gossip, vent, catch up, etc. By the time our hour starts, we are ready to go. Then the hour is focused on just swimming.
Like the jazzed up fun
The background music is irritating.. stopped watching after 30 seconds...
…
To bad , it stopped at 32s
Yeah honestly the video would be way better without the music. It would be way funnier to see him scream at his swimmers without the distractions in the background
i used to always be the first one in on my old team but know it has changed and everyone gets in on time but i would get mad as a coach if swimmers didn't get in on time!
OH HELL NAH i fit every single one here
Lol this reminds me my childhood, when I was 7 y/o I swam faster than everyone else in the group, cuz I was the only one who listens the coach xD Skipping the sets - classic :D
Fares Sir I have a question
That swim buoys will help to stand on water without moving hands or legs and also it’s will help drowning of that swim buoys
I just started outside swim🎉🎉🎉
Love it! lol
Day 1 requesting video for red light therapy. (Don’t know if it’s fully legal, what age should start, heard it increases muscle mass would that be bad for distance swimmers?)

Is this from the latest swim camp in Greece? I’d like to see a student’s POV about these multi-day camps. 😊 What’s it really like for someone like me?
Here’s a recap from a camp we did in Thailand ua-cam.com/video/DssNWFQJSZw/v-deo.htmlsi=R9jb43p7z_sPca2V
And is it a swim class or something?
Yesssss!
my coach sent me this video lol
Uh oh ;)
How old do you have to be to go here?
Hi Fares Sir
Swimming is like a workout right Fares Sir
Swimming IS a workout! You burn calories, improve your cardio, and sweat when you swim :)

Thank you Fares, I needed this video. Recently I am the "poorest performer" from our group. The coach gives us things to do and many of the other swimmers do these things while I am busting my ass to do everything she says. Talking about adults btw. They skip reps more often than not and when I do them fully they look at me with some kind of "disgust" like I am the slowest and worst swimmer ever for actually not cheating and doing everything the coach says. I even admit to her that for example I didn't do the last 2 reps. I just feel like an idiot for actually listening to the coach and trying to do everything while everybody is taking breaks, gossiping and not taking the training seriously, so this video cheered me up.
Have confidence in yourself and what you do.
Don’t worry about jealous or guilty looks from others.
Don’t worry about “cheaters” or even taking a much needed drink, cramp, injury, or extended rest break once in awhile. (If it becomes a regular thing, then reassess during the day & night your hydration, eating, sleeping, and other healthy havits-and talk to you parents, doctor, trainer, and coach, outside of pool time about any injury, medical issue, etc.)
Pain progress
Effort * Talent * Proper practice form = Skill & Physical Capability growth
(Skill + Physical Capability) * Effort * (Smart Coaching + Execution) = Success
Fares is tough, and sometimes it feels like he is just training swimmers for the olympics. But, my understanding is that Master group is about fitness, companionship, learning, and competition…not solely competition. It is also for swimmers of all ages and abilities! We have a mid 40’s, overweight, ex football player. Never swam in his life and terrified of water. Started taking private lessons and after 6 months finally joined us! He could only swim a lap to several of ours, but we all cheered and embraced him! It’s so hard to start out. The fastest swimmer was the beginner at one point in their life. I admire those, like you, that are starting out, embracing challenges working alongside those that have been doing it for years.
This is perfect. What has my son not been doing during practice! 😂
The background music was not pleasant and took away form the qctual content of the video
