Tip from a baker. Add a pinch of salt to your egg to break down the protein and the 'gloopiness' of the egg glaze so that it is easier to paint on and less like wallpaper paste. It also enhances the glaze when baking 👍

I know this video is over 6 months old but we just received our Cosori air fryer yesterday and could not wait to try it out, best money we have ever spent, the food was unbelievably delicious. As for you two, you have me in stitches, love you guys, you're right up my street, the innuendos have me falling off my chair, keep em coming. xxx
Love these two, proper people 👏. Relatively new subscriber and trained chef, but love their approach to cooking and cheeky upbeat disposition - this kind of stuff is what really inspires people to have a go at putting their own food together, not a fillet of sea bass on a tower of celeriac with a white wine and fennel reduction. Keep it up guys, great channel.

Sharon, I bet you learned to make that at school, the same as me. We used ordinary sausage meat, and added sage and onion to make it. We learned a lot in cookery years ago, they should still teach it in schools today, band delicious as always. 👍
It's years since I made a sausage plaît😋 I used to make them all the time & freeze them because every party or leaving do at work or get together etc & everyone wanted my sausage plaît. It was so easy to make as well. I used to just get pork sausage meat & make a packet of sage & onion stuffing, mix it together & fill the pastry just like Sharon did there. Quick, easy & like they said so tasty hot or cold. Such a versatile dish. In fact I'm going to make one later😋
Brill. An alternative filling that I know Sharon will love. A recipe given to me many years ago as a vegetarian alternative or just because. You need, 8oz of prepped pastry, short or puff etc, 8oz breadcrumbs, 8 oz grated cheese. 1 large finely chopped or grated onion. 3 Tablespoons of chopped fresh Parsley, chives and 1 tablespoon of mixed herbs. 1-1.5 teaspoons of mustard powder, pinch of Cayenne, salt and ground black pepper. Mix with 142mls of fresh cream. Leave to mingle and use as you would sausage meat. These are so fab and my favourites.
Love you two. Brilliant ideas no faff. And being a veggie, I know!, I can adapt. To be honest, you two have taken the “scare factor” out of air fryers so thank you 🙏

Great video guys. Reminds me of my caramelized onion, cheese and bacon plaits, just I make them like a standard-size roll. if you like cheese you love them, so simple to make, caramelize the onion (I use red onion), cook the bacon, dry off the fat from the bacon and onion , mix the cheese and onion together, open out the puff pastry & cut to size cut your plaits, bacon on the bottom then add the cheese and onion as much or as little as you like, fold over the plaits, add egg glaze, air fry for 12 to 16 mins (depending on air fryer ) hope try these and enjoy x

Thank you for sharing your recipe for sausage plait… I’d like to share mine with you both that will make the sausage meat go further and taste delicious!! 1 packet of paxo stuffing mix, make the stuffing as instructed on the packaging. Mix it into your sausage meat, then fill your puff pastry as normal. Or try this other recipe: 400g pork sausage meat 2 heaped tablespoons caramelised onion & chutney 1 tablespoon fresh sage leaves, chopped 250g puff pastry Salt & ground black pepper to taste. 1 beaten egg for glazing Directions: Select Bake, set temperature to 160c and set time to 30 minutes turn on your unit to begin preheating. Once your unit has preheated, place the sausage plait on parchment paper in the basket cook for 30 minutes. Enjoy 😊
Great video, yet again. I'll be having a go at the plait tomorrow 👍. As usual we are now watching some of your previous videos I just heard Sharon say she doesn't trust the frozen onion, for taste once cooked. Can I ask you just to give them a try once. Using frozen avoids all the tears, but gives you a quick addition to the meal. They cook up wet at first, but persevere with cooking and the water will evaporate. They are either diced or sliced and great in things like stews, curries, casseroles etc. If I need raw onion then I do still use fresh, but the frozen have saved so much hassle and time when cooking. I have even fried them straight in the pan for things like hot dogs and burgers, seasoned they are just like a lovely fried onion. Also, along the same lines is Soffrito, which is onion, carrots and celery. This is a great base for Bolognese or stews. Please give the onions a try in cooking, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. 🤗
You've done it now mate. Sausage plait? Flaming heck. Not done this for donkeys, in fact I forgot this existed.. But thanks to you it will be done and even those who are vegans can get their due. ie my other half is trying....

I reduced the temp and time. I thought it was cooked, I even stuck a needle in the middle and it was ok. I went to dish it up at tea time and it was still runny. So I stuck it in the microwave for ten minutes and it was ok. I was so disappointed
Martin Sharon, great videos guys, love the channel. Hear listen, you know the edge you cut off the pitta bread, try this as a great tasty snack. Take all the bits, edges, sprinkle with olive oil sea salt pepper, and tabasco if req. Pop in the Cosori air fryer, 3 to 4 mins on 200c or higher, Bang, crispy nibble snacks. So morish. Try it guys if you like mention me in one of your future vids, Id love that.😁👍🔆
