I like the final scene depicting a new land of hope and glory for America is a great big idea more so than simply being a worn out poorly planned dystopian humiliating nightmare we must endure as a dystopian future arrives a bit stranger than fiction itself for the real world is becoming oddly like science fiction.

Sure. The global economy since 1945 was centered around New York City being the alpha world city hub with California being America's trendsetter weird culture center, but all that is changing. And I do mean, 'was.' Notice how we don't really have good movies anymore and how the real world has become a dirty tasted science fiction movie? You might feel a bit envious and jealous of America, but I assure you there's no reason to be jealous and envious of me, the American, for I'm barely getting by economically and emotionally. There's not enough money nor opportunities to experience life and culture for we don't have vibrance like you sense in our classic movies and music. I feel I don't have a country anymore so it's all nostalgic and memorial in nature when I appreciate a classic movie like this one. Most of us are not rich like how everyone in every country I visited said to me when I told them I'm an American. Rich in knowledge, way over educated, but bounding in curiosity and unmet desires, but not money and culture which is rotten. @@Kio_vidz
