@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Well that's one of the reasons I love Kiryu so much. He isn't completely motivated by revenge no matter how bad they've wronged him. He always tries to see the good in everyone. A man stabbed him right in front of his adopted daughter and time after Kiryu still helped him after he showed injured up almost dead to Kiryu's house. He's pretty much a superhero pretending to be a criminal but aside from fighting like one, he's pretty bad at the role.
Fun fact, Kiryu (The guy in the vid) has never killed a man or started a fight Also there is all of Majimas (Eyepatch dude) Heat Moves to see, way more crazy shit
The "never killed a man" was a mistranslation Kiryu will never murder in cold blood, but if it's for self defense then he will kill. If some dude runs at him with a knife and Kiryu just reverses it into his gut, he won't lose any sleep over that. But, if Kiryu knocks him out no problem? He will not grab the knife and finish the job.
Oh and all those times where he's shot at cars and exploded helicopters are "kill or be killed" situations, he can't exactly knock out each and every driver/pilot. And if he doesn't do anything then they'll just kill him.
I really hope you guys play this some day. This series is so good with its drama, the side missions, and the mini games. Characters are memorable and cool. The situations get serious with the main story but then get hilariously outlandish with the side stories. Also Kiryu has never killed anybody before, he's a good boy. Also fun fact, Toshihiro Nagoshi the creator of the Yakuza series is actually has friendly relationship with the Yakuza which is probably why he's created this romanticized version of the gang.
If you have something to play, Yakuza 0 is definitely a must play, the story, the characters(even the main characters like Kiryu and Goro) and the gameplay really is amazing, even the side missions themselves were awesome and memorable. The story itself is a rollercoaster of emotions. Highly recommend you play this
Honestly, if they had to start somewhere and don't want to play 7 games in a row, (I tried I got 1-3 then got tired of the same game over and over) they could start on 7. New cast of Characters, new City, new genre, same kind of plot and world.
"Kiryu would never kill anyone." Also Kiryu: Yakuza will always be my favorite SEGA beat-em-ups of all time. (Aside Shenmue and Streets of Rage) Thanks you two for reacting to this!
They can't call it but it is definitely a lightsaber. Yakuza 0 takes place in the late 80's and Star Wars is still an entertainment juggernaught (movies, videogames, comics, tv serials/shows etc). So it is natural that they include a lightsaber knock-off. The game also has a Michael Jackson(Miracle Johnson) reference.
@@SolProxy they edited it in after because, after watching some of Majima's, it showed the ones him and Kiryu shares and they got the impression that it's the same stuff, different character. They will make a new video for Majima. Source: Their pinned comment.
I'm glad you're watching some Yakuza stuff, the games are so good (and very, very sad...), and once you find out about the backstory, you'll probably understand why Kiryu is how he is
Yakuza 0 also has a second protaganist you can play as, Goro Majima, who is the guy with the eye-patch, He becomes a bit of a rival in Yakuza Kiwami 1, popping up everywhere thanks to the "Majima Everywhere" System being introduced, a ton of funny little interactions come from that, some crazy as well, as crazy as Majima in Kiwami 1!
The Majima everywhere bits, and the majima everywhere "story" quests would also be fun for them to watch from Yakuza 1 Kiwami. Stick Majima's introduction on there explaining why he's doing it, should make sense to anyone.
I actually love the Yakuza series. It's so unapologetic about what it is. It's a serious crime drama main story with silly, almost down-to-earth side quests where fights are extremely brutal (as you can see). But those guys he smashed into the wall, or slammed into the car doors? They're fine, they get back up after the fight is over lol. You should definitely watch the trailers for these
There's a ton of sidequests, ridiculous, sad, plenty of emotions in the Yakuza SERIES (literally 100+ in Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2 from when I played), it's a must-play! Also, Kiryu Kazama is a gold-hearted character, he's silly sometimes, always too serious but still helping out people, accidentally or not, He's pretty naive too, and has no experience with women whatsoever, also he never killed anybody, it's like the batman situation, except REAAAAAALLY stretched thin, considering the knife heat actions and in some combat cutscenes you haven't really seen yet, dropkicking somebody off a window way high up, also using a gun, since you have guns!
I think you two should definitely watch the cutscenes from Yakuza 0 the story is sooooo good. It's a rather long game to play but I think it's a must play personally. There are also 7 other games in the main series.
I would love to see you guys react or play through this series its absolutely amazing and emotional “He’s a evil S.O.B” I promise you he’s a kind hearted man except to those who wish to do him or his love one harm.
Guys, Kazuma Kiryu is like the best video game character out there. He is so good it's beyond belief. I've finished all of Yakuza games and haven't even seen half of these moves because you need to be in Heat Mode and acquire specific item or weapon to use at the right moment. He is yakuza, at least in the beginning, but he mostly fights actual yakuza and helps everyone else. I mean, he runs the orphanage and helps children without parents ;)) He is tough as hell and a great fighter, but he never wants to fight anyone, and definitely doesn't kill anyone even those who constantly try to kill him. The moves displayed there are just for display against infinite number of random fights which are always instigated by various badguys and hooligans. He is one of the most moral, and kind characters in the history of video games. You need to play these games and not just focus on battle gameplay which is made to look cool rather than serious. No matter what you use in the fight, at the end of it enemies usually just apologize for attacking you and flee, they're not dead or stabbed or with broken bones :P
Thanks for giving us some more info on character and game. We’ve heard this story is really good so we will have to check out more from this game. Although the crazy fights are just to grab our attention 🤗
Absolutely amazing game! People focus on the side activity and all the wild stuff you can do and almost disregard the fact that the story is incredible!
The guy in the white suit kazzy (the dragon of dojima) is the main protagonist through out most of the yakuza games and he's a legend. All those guys he's beating up definitely deserve it. The story behind kazzy is really good definitely something you guys should watch sometime.
If you want to see more of the yakuza series as a whole then I suggest watching every Yakuza boss dynamic intro by a UA-camr called MadDogMajima7. It's a long one but I highly suggest you check it out
Y'all said that Kiryu didn't crack a smile at the beginning, but he totally did. You should look at his face when he first enters vs. after Majima pulls his "KIRYUUUU-CHAN." He's smirking, which is as much of a smile as you'll get from him unless you're part of a very wholesome side story. Kiryu, for the most part, really enjoys fighting with Majima, since they can keep up with each other. But the expression is subtle. He barely raises a corner of his mouth. But that's practically beaming for Kiryu 😂
The Yakuza series is a little slice of Japan simulator that offers fun, quirky stories as well as serious, dramatic tension, sometimes within moments of each other and it all somehow works. Hope you guys check out the rest of the series (including a certain eye-patched character).
So, as brutal as Kiryu is when he fights, he's a very wholesome and gold-hearted character. And speaking of fighting, he has 3 normal fighting styles and one secret fighting style. Blue aura is his Brawler style. Basically a street-fighting style, pretty balanced in terms of speed and power. Pink aura is Rush style. A boxing-like style focused on fast combos and attacks, as well as a lot of movement options, like dodging and weaving. Yellow aura is Beast style. A brutal, powerhouse style, it does high damage and is amazing against crowds of enemies, but it's slow. He can also automatically pick up objects while attacking in this style (while in other styles, he has to run up to the object and grab it). White aura is the secret, Legend style, unlockable after completing a minigame. It's basically Kiryu's classical style from Yakuza 1 and onwards, but missing a few moves because the story takes place before Yakuza 1, so Kiryu did not meet some characters who would teach him some of his signature moves. Also, money keeps flying out of the enemies because the story takes place in the 80s Japan, when Japan had a bubble economy and money was abundant. Also, money in this game is not only for buying items and weapons, but it also serves to actually upgrade the characters' stats and obtain new skills
Oh man this is my favorite game of the year Yakuza 0 yes I've been playing Yakuza 1 through 6 and even this one as well I beaten all of them but the only one I haven't beaten yet was Yakuza 5

That's one half of all Heat Actions in this game. Now you have to see Majima's, and then the ones in the other eight games , counting both Judgments and not counting Yakuza 7, but then again, 7 has those summon animations and special attacks, so... Yep, a real can of worms, but a truly excellent game series nonetheless.
KIRYU-CHAN :3 Yakuza is a legendary game hehe, very interesting ^^ Well done, Bethany and Ken :o 💜💜 Also Kiryu has 4 styles :3 Brawler (Blue) Rush (Purple) Yellow (Beats) White (Dragon of Dojima)
The best description for Yakuza 0 Kiryu i have heard is from the Penultimate Boss fight (paraphrasing to avoid too many spoilers). "i can tell you know? he knew this would happen.held it back. tried to keep you from turning into a True Yakuza. and we went and broke the seal" Kiryu just wanted to keep his head down, but through 0 becomes what you see. even gets a chance to walk away, but they broke the seal and turned him into the Dragon.
Yea Kingpin is a dude that can go head up with the likes of Spider-Man and Daredevi, that would be a great match up 😮 And Joker... Joker has shown he can hold his own against Batman, but idk if he can take Majima's raw strength. Majima can legit punch hard enough to collapse an entire floor 💀
@@dionotdio Yeah. Kiryu vs Kingpin just match up so perfectly, that I legitimately could not fathom who would win. Kiryu would definitely have no problem lifting Kingpin cause like Kingpin, his strength is insane. The common theme of both leading criminal organizations. Not to mention it is so easy to write a lead up to a battle. Kingpin trying to muscle in to getting a foothold into the Japanese criminal underworld with Kiryu having none of that. :) What would be scary is the tradition of Kiryu and his opponent ripping off their jackets and shirts before their battle. Cause I could definitely see Deathbattle doing that for their battle, because its Kiryu. :) Kingpin asking "What the hell are you doing???" And Kiryu saying " Getting ready to fight." Oh...about Majima vs Joker. I totally forgot to mention, they had Mark hamill voice Majima for the English version of the first game. Think about that. They went out of their way to get the animated voice of Joker to also play Majima. They knew what they were doing. :) For anyone who somehow doesn't know, for most of the last 30 years, if you saw any game or animated show that has Joker, most of the time he was voiced by Mark Hamill. And as an interesting tidbit, Kiryus best friend was voiced by the person who plays Lex Luthor in Smallville. And his love interest voiced by the person that voiced She-Hulk.
Funny thing, Kiryu in 0 is like really naive and nice persone (well I guess it doesnt really change in other games) but he fighting extremly brutal Aslo dont foget Majima. Probably most favorite charecter of all Yakuza's (really tragic charecter I must say, just hides it)
Yakuza 0 takes place in the 80's and the devs took alot of inspiration from movies of that time, hence all the money flying out when u punch someone and some of the over the top moves, couse its not meant to be realistic, just fun. Both characters have acces to 3 fighting styles(like Kiryu's Beast style) wich all have their own unique moves. If u want to see more fun stuff i recommend looking up videos about the minigames in this series, some are exstremely hilarious, like how Kiryu takes up a phonecall, so good!
That was only the heat actions for one of the characters called Kiryu Kazuma. You should also see every heat action for the character wearing a eye patch called Majima Goro. Really cool!
Another classic, awesome franchise you've gotten to. The easy way to describe it is a Japanese GTA, but it's so much more than that, also having fighting game and life sim elements, more so than GTA. In fact, Yakuza was originally conceived, I believe, as something of a spiritual successor to a franchise I believe I've suggested before called Shenmue. Would also love to see you check out finishing moves and or environmental kills from a game called Sleeping Dogs, some similar vibes. At any rate, combat in these is super fun, you should definitely play. Cheers!
Cannibal crossing is a game you guys should check out! it seems to be splitscreen/couch co-op so that is also a plus. now it says it is on windows only but it might be also on gamepass.
When you have the time, you should react to Yakuza Like a Dragon's summons. Like a Dragon is basically an RPG-style game because the main character is a huge weirdo Dragon Quest fan that fantasizes all of his jobs as RPG-style quests, and all of his 'summons' are just calling various goofy characters up on his cell phone to come by and help him out. They're just as well animated as these moves, but they lean way more into the goofier side of the Yakuza series, which should be pretty fun.
You know what I find ironic as well? Part of the plot of this game is that Kiryu is accused of murder. Then you look at all of this video and go "yeah, of course he's innocent, sure." (To be fair the guy was shot, which, in retrospect, seems tame compared to some of the stuff Kiryu does here.)
Canonically, Kiryu has never killed anybody, meaning his opponents all somehow survive getting stabbed or having their skull crushed or getting shot at multiple times…or getting blown up in cars…or getting nails stuck to their face
In case y'all dont understand, the golden aura represents the fight style they are using, which are Blue, Pink, Gold and White. In the series usually Blue are the most default fighting style, Pink delivers the lowest damage but being the fastest speed that can non stop combo your opponents, Gold being the brutal one that deals lots of damage but slower momentum, and White is the Legendary combat moves that sticks to the character story, which in this case Kiryu is called The Dragon of Dojima, and Majima known as Mad Dog of Shimano, from the name you can pretty much tell their personalities This type of combat system were used until Yakuza Kiwami, and it got completely changed in Yakuza Kiwami 2 up until Yakuza 6: Song of Life
Oh god. Thank you for reacting to this. If both of you can, please react to Majima's heat action and all the cutscenes from the Yakuza 0 game in style of your reaction to The Witcher

We can get behind a good revenge story 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Well that's one of the reasons I love Kiryu so much. He isn't completely motivated by revenge no matter how bad they've wronged him. He always tries to see the good in everyone. A man stabbed him right in front of his adopted daughter and time after Kiryu still helped him after he showed injured up almost dead to Kiryu's house. He's pretty much a superhero pretending to be a criminal but aside from fighting like one, he's pretty bad at the role.
Fun fact, Kiryu (The guy in the vid) has never killed a man or started a fight
Also there is all of Majimas (Eyepatch dude) Heat Moves to see, way more crazy shit
He did indirectly killed a man, like how he used man as a human shields in Kiwami.
The "never killed a man" was a mistranslation
Kiryu will never murder in cold blood, but if it's for self defense then he will kill.
😎🤟
I really hope you guys play this some day. This series is so good with its drama, the side missions, and the mini games. Characters are memorable and cool. The situations get serious with the main story but then get hilariously outlandish with the side stories. Also Kiryu has never killed anybody before, he's a good boy.
Also fun fact, Toshihiro Nagoshi the creator of the Yakuza series is actually has friendly relationship with the Yakuza which is probably why he's created this romanticized version of the gang.
And the Yakuza were probably like, you can’t show us killing anyone 😂
If you have something to play, Yakuza 0 is definitely a must play, the story, the characters(even the main characters like Kiryu and Goro) and the gameplay really is amazing, even the side missions themselves were awesome and memorable. The story itself is a rollercoaster of emotions. Highly recommend you play this
Honestly, if they had to start somewhere and don't want to play 7 games in a row, (I tried I got 1-3 then got tired of the same game over and over) they could start on 7. New cast of Characters, new City, new genre, same kind of plot and world.
Wouldn’t have expected it from just these heat actions for the story to be so rich. Glad to hear it and we will have to explore more 🙂
@@acrab6527 I actually played 0-6 and now am on 7.. tried getting into Lost Judgment (I think that's the name) but didn't get far. Loved them all.
"Kiryu would never kill anyone."
Also Kiryu:
Yakuza will always be my favorite SEGA beat-em-ups of all time. (Aside Shenmue and Streets of Rage) Thanks you two for reacting to this!
Is shenmue that good? I hear a lot of mixed reviews but am curious myself.
Our pleasure! It was fun experiencing this for the first time 🙂
*Crash addiction suddenly begins playing in the distance*
*Its getting closer*
They can't call it but it is definitely a lightsaber. Yakuza 0 takes place in the late 80's and Star Wars is still an entertainment juggernaught (movies, videogames, comics, tv serials/shows etc). So it is natural that they include a lightsaber knock-off. The game also has a Michael Jackson(Miracle Johnson) reference.
😎🤟 knew it was a light saber 😁
It seems to only be Kiryu, ther'es another character in the game named Majima, he got a bunch of heat actions too !
Yeah, the title literally says it's just Kiryu, or did they edit that in afterwards?
@@SolProxy edited afterwards :)
@@SolProxy they edited it in after because, after watching some of Majima's, it showed the ones him and Kiryu shares and they got the impression that it's the same stuff, different character. They will make a new video for Majima. Source: Their pinned comment.
I'm glad you're watching some Yakuza stuff, the games are so good (and very, very sad...), and once you find out about the backstory, you'll probably understand why Kiryu is how he is
😎👍🙂
Remember, he's just incapacitating them, totally no deaths occured.
😂
😎🤟
I actually love the Yakuza series. It's so unapologetic about what it is. It's a serious crime drama main story with silly, almost down-to-earth side quests where fights are extremely brutal (as you can see). But those guys he smashed into the wall, or slammed into the car doors? They're fine, they get back up after the fight is over lol.
You should definitely watch the trailers for these
We’ve heard that Kiryu has killed no one 😇
The "lightsaber" weapon is called a photon blade prototype (Technically it is a lightsaber :D)
Nice! 😀😁
So he is just really accurate with guns and never hits any vital organs or arteries 😂😁
Love it 🥳🥳
I think you two should definitely watch the cutscenes from Yakuza 0 the story is sooooo good. It's a rather long game to play but I think it's a must play personally. There are also 7 other games in the main series.
😎👍😀
I would love to see you guys react or play through this series its absolutely amazing and emotional
“He’s a evil S.O.B” I promise you he’s a kind hearted man except to those who wish to do him or his love one harm.
Yeah we are just going off the brutal heat actions so we don’t know why he’s doing it. But we can buy that he is a good guy 😇😀
Loved your reactions! Also isn't it funny that all those guys are perfectly fine after combat? Looking forward to more Yakuza reactions! :D
Haha, maybe some long term injuries after the adrenaline wears off 😜
Absolute savage in the 80's, biggest sweetheart and the bestest of boys in the 2000's.
😎🤟😇
Yakuza 0 is a rollercoaster of a game. Insanely good, can't recommend it enough.
😎🤟😀
Absolutely amazing game! People focus on the side activity and all the wild stuff you can do and almost disregard the fact that the story is incredible!
We’ve heard from a few people the story is quite superb 🤩
I have been waiting for a Yakuza reaction for so long
Glad we finally got to it 😀
First time I’ve ever heard someone look at Kiryu and go “that guys evil” lmao
😇🤗
The guy in the white suit kazzy (the dragon of dojima) is the main protagonist through out most of the yakuza games and he's a legend. All those guys he's beating up definitely deserve it. The story behind kazzy is really good definitely something you guys should watch sometime.
Love the nickname Kazzy 😀
If you want to see more of the yakuza series as a whole then I suggest watching every Yakuza boss dynamic intro by a UA-camr called MadDogMajima7. It's a long one but I highly suggest you check it out
Thanks for the vid recommendation 🙂
Phew... About time you did a Yakuza heat action reaction, Lost Judgement Ex actions next pls!
😅🥳
best way to describe Kiryu is to call him a nice guy with the strength of a gorila.
You know its gonna be a great video.... When Bethany is shown covering her eyes in the thumbnail 😂🙈
😂😜🫣
Y'all said that Kiryu didn't crack a smile at the beginning, but he totally did. You should look at his face when he first enters vs. after Majima pulls his "KIRYUUUU-CHAN."
He's smirking, which is as much of a smile as you'll get from him unless you're part of a very wholesome side story. Kiryu, for the most part, really enjoys fighting with Majima, since they can keep up with each other. But the expression is subtle. He barely raises a corner of his mouth. But that's practically beaming for Kiryu 😂
Haha, we will keep that in mind when checking out more of Yakuza and Kiryu 🙂
Kiryu Kazuma has never killed a man.
The Yakuza series is a little slice of Japan simulator that offers fun, quirky stories as well as serious, dramatic tension, sometimes within moments of each other and it all somehow works. Hope you guys check out the rest of the series (including a certain eye-patched character).
Fun series that we plan to dive into more 🙂
So, as brutal as Kiryu is when he fights, he's a very wholesome and gold-hearted character.
Thanks for explaining the different fighting style and also why the money keeps flying around 🙂
Can't wait to see you react to Majima's heat actions.
😁 we look forward to it 🥳🥳
Yakuza is one of the best game series ever
Our journey into it begins 😎🤟
Yakuza 0 is my favorite out of the series so far I’m currently on yakuza kiwimi 2. I love that you guys are getting to react to this.
😎🤟 crazy series and we heard a great story 🤩
Oh man this is my favorite game of the year Yakuza 0 yes I've been playing Yakuza 1 through 6 and even this one as well I beaten all of them but the only one I haven't beaten yet was Yakuza 5
Have to finish the series Professor 😜
Oh?! Yakuza 0?!
This game is a journey and a half! Definitely recommend playing this game some day!
Seems like it is working it’s way into our gameplay list 😇
Don't forget Yagami kun from judgment games.
Its the same universe
😎👍😀
As a wise man said. Kiryu and his never ending war with bones.
😂
Who would've thought that during my graduation I would be watching y'all react to one of my favorite have series. I highly recommend checking out all of Yakuza dynamic intros + lost Judgment dynamic intros
Glad we could be a part of your graduation in some way 🥳🥳🥳🍾🥂 Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊
If You think this guy it's a beast ar fighting, wait till You hear him sing and dance, this guy is perfect
Looking forward to seeing it all 😀
Ooooooh a yakuza react!? Jeez you two are on a roll reacting to some interesting videos lately keep up the good work! 😄🍻😆
Thanks! 🥳🥳🍾🥂
Ah yes, the Dragon of Dojima, proficient in such exotic weapons as the traffic cone, umbrella, bench, and bicycle.
😂
Remember: Kazuma Kiryu has never killed a man in his life
✅😇
Y0: Young Kiryu, One man Tank Power Potato with no fighting techniques but eventually get his powerful form from being a real estate boss
But kidding aside tho, great story highly recommended 9/10
I recommend Yakuza 0 in nutshell, also will love more yakuza videos! Its an amazing game
Have add that one to our request list 🙂
Majima, Yagami is needed
😎👍😀
Oh you're in for a treat with this series.
😀
The one where he throws him off the bridge so probably the most tame one out of them all
😂
Kiryu is the nicest guy in the world. And i know this sounds crazy after watching this, but he has a "never kill" agenda, like Batman :D
Describing him like Batman makes sense now as to him not killing people but still beating the crap out of em 😂
Good stuff , keep 'em coming. Great channel
Glad you are enjoying the content 🥳🥳
the story of yakuza 0 is one of the best in video games history, highly recommend playing it or watching the full cutscenes in youtube its %100 worth
On our request list 😀
Our boy really pulled a Crank 2 with that motorbike!
😛
That's one half of all Heat Actions in this game. Now you have to see Majima's, and then the ones in the other eight games , counting both Judgments and not counting Yakuza 7, but then again, 7 has those summon animations and special attacks, so...
Yep, a real can of worms, but a truly excellent game series nonetheless.
It has begun….😁
Definitely recommend watching Majimas next
Looking forward to checking those out 🙂
KIRYU-CHAN :3
Yakuza is a legendary game hehe, very interesting ^^
Well done, Bethany and Ken :o 💜💜
Also Kiryu has 4 styles :3
Brawler (Blue)
Rush (Purple)
Yellow (Beats)
White (Dragon of Dojima)
😎👍😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames 😁🖤💜
Loving Yakuza content! Kiryu and Majima's chemistry is just... lmao
😎🤟
The best description for Yakuza 0 Kiryu i have heard is from the Penultimate Boss fight (paraphrasing to avoid too many spoilers).
"i can tell you know? he knew this would happen.held it back. tried to keep you from turning into a True Yakuza. and we went and broke the seal"
Kiryu just wanted to keep his head down, but through 0 becomes what you see. even gets a chance to walk away, but they broke the seal and turned him into the Dragon.
This is a series we need to get back to. Have heard story is really good 🙂
This just makes me want to see these guys in Deathbattles.
Kiryu vs Kingpin
Majima vs Joker
Nice Death Battle lineups 😀
Yea Kingpin is a dude that can go head up with the likes of Spider-Man and Daredevi, that would be a great match up 😮
And Joker...
What would be scary is the tradition of Kiryu and his opponent ripping off their jackets and shirts before their battle. Cause I could definitely see Deathbattle doing that for their battle, because its Kiryu. :) Kingpin asking "What the hell are you doing???" And Kiryu saying " Getting ready to fight."
Oh...about Majima vs Joker.
Funny thing, Kiryu in 0 is like really naive and nice persone (well I guess it doesnt really change in other games) but he fighting extremly brutal
Aslo dont foget Majima. Probably most favorite charecter of all Yakuza's (really tragic charecter I must say, just hides it)
We will check out Majimas heat actions 🙂
Kazuma Kiryu has never killed a man, c'mon now.
🤗
Yakuza 0 takes place in the 80's and the devs took alot of inspiration from movies of that time, hence all the money flying out when u punch someone and some of the over the top moves, couse its not meant to be realistic, just fun.
Both characters have acces to 3 fighting styles(like Kiryu's Beast style) wich all have their own unique moves.
If u want to see more fun stuff i recommend looking up videos about the minigames in this series, some are exstremely hilarious, like how Kiryu takes up a phonecall, so good!
Thanks for letting us know more about the game and to check out the mini games 😀
Baka nital ohh god perfect song
Perfect Time! I just finished this game last week. I'm new to Yakuza series :D. I hope you react to "boss" fights too. The tattoos are soo awesome!
How did you like the first playthrough? 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames I enjoyed it a lot. The main quest is sad but the side stories are so funny and over the top. I recommend it 100%.
You should definitely check out all the pound mate summons from Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Added to our Yakuza request list 🙂
That was only the heat actions for one of the characters called Kiryu Kazuma. You should also see every heat action for the character wearing a eye patch called Majima Goro. Really cool!
We plan to check those out as well 😇
Another classic, awesome franchise you've gotten to. Cheers!
Sleeping Dogs is for sure in our list but didn’t know much about it. Rare right? 😂
I hope you do more of Yakuza 0 this game is just something else.
Plan to check out more. At the very least Majimas heat actions 😀
I would recommend heat moves from yakuza kiwami 2 which is a remake in their newer engine, the heat moves in that are truly next level.
Added to our Yakuza request list 🙂
Cannibal crossing is a game you guys should check out! it seems to be splitscreen/couch co-op so that is also a plus. now it says it is on windows only but it might be also on gamepass.
You guys always seem to post my favorite games on a Friday.
I'm starting to think I might need to diversify my games more. >.>
😂😜 Nah, play what you like 😁
I don’t know if you already know but the yakuza is basically the Japanese mafia that exists in real life too
Knew it, but for some reason forgot it while watching 🤗
When you have the time, you should react to Yakuza Like a Dragon's summons.
Like a Dragon is basically an RPG-style game because the main character is a huge weirdo Dragon Quest fan that fantasizes all of his jobs as RPG-style quests, and all of his 'summons' are just calling various goofy characters up on his cell phone to come by and help him out. They're just as well animated as these moves, but they lean way more into the goofier side of the Yakuza series, which should be pretty fun.
On our request list for the series 🙂
Fun fact: A journalist got actual Yakuza members to play Yakuza 3, and the only problem they had was that Kiryu's suit was awful.
Haha, that’s a great fun fact 😀
You know what I find ironic as well? Part of the plot of this game is that Kiryu is accused of murder. Then you look at all of this video and go "yeah, of course he's innocent, sure."
(To be fair the guy was shot, which, in retrospect, seems tame compared to some of the stuff Kiryu does here.)
I am writing this to help out ken and Bethany and this video and this channel with the algorithm ✌️❤️😚☺️
😊😀
Canonically, Kiryu has never killed anybody, meaning his opponents all somehow survive getting stabbed or having their skull crushed or getting shot at multiple times…or getting blown up in cars…or getting nails stuck to their face
😂 guess everyone is just on life support still 😜
Hahaha, her comment at Kiryu, he's actually a good man.
On a sidenote, really wish they'd react to Stellaris trailers, they're amazing.
We will get to some Stellaris 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames AWESOME
And yet Kazuma Kiryu has never killed a man. He runs a pretty good orphanage too
😇
"Didn't even crack a smile"
That is Kiryu smiling
In case y'all dont understand, the golden aura represents the fight style they are using, which are Blue, Pink, Gold and White. In the series usually Blue are the most default fighting style, Pink delivers the lowest damage but being the fastest speed that can non stop combo your opponents, Gold being the brutal one that deals lots of damage but slower momentum, and White is the Legendary combat moves that sticks to the character story, which in this case Kiryu is called The Dragon of Dojima, and Majima known as Mad Dog of Shimano, from the name you can pretty much tell their personalities
This type of combat system were used until Yakuza Kiwami, and it got completely changed in Yakuza Kiwami 2 up until Yakuza 6: Song of Life
Oh god. Thank you for reacting to this.
If both of you can, please react to Majima's heat action and all the cutscenes from the Yakuza 0 game in style of your reaction to The Witcher
Plan to do both. Although we may end up playing this 🤔😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames That's......RAD !
You should check out judgement all ex actions (Same developer as yakuza but different game and character)
On our request list 😇
