I just bought my first house in a climate with actual seasons. And I have no idea what I'm doing. The previous homeowner left this thing in the storage room. I didn't know what it was. Your video has been extremely helpful. Now instead of paying someone $250, I'm going to try and tackle the leaves myself.
This was really helpful, thank you! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve struggled to find a video that’s actually helpful for how to use new tools, this is great
I am glad I got to see this sun Joe in action. I am going to be buying it this week, its on sale. I'm getting the red one. I looked at several leaf blowers and this one seemed best.
Just ordered the red and black version, mainly for the leaf vacuum. Looks like it has pretty good power with those huge leaves you were vacuuming. Thank you for the review!
Looks very HEAVY, though, so hard to hold at height and time required to clean gutters? I have a small SunJoe leaf blower. Wish they'd make a gutter cleaning attachment for that one.
Item overall i wouldnt say is for extreme heavy use. I have had mine for 4 years and it does the job. The main problem with this unit is the little plastic button that holds the attachment to the motor portion of the unit. It breaks very easily. When it breaks the only way to keep the proper adapter on is with duct tape. The alternative is you could use a screw to permanently hold the adapter on but of you have to change the adapter to then use the leaf mulcher attachment your kinda screwed. If anyone has any suggestions besides holding on the attachment adapter with duct tape please let me know..
Just ordered the red one with a 2 year warranty from Home Depot. Was going to try a universal gutter kit on my discontinued craftsman 60 volt blower, but this made more sense to me. Being able to vacuum some leaves might be helpful as well.
I have this exact model, minus the gutter attachments. It's been a great help for two season's worth of leaves. About to dive into the third season of leaf mulching using the Sun Joe! Two questions: can the gutter attachments be purchased separately? And what is the maximum height the gutter attachments can be used for? I have to get at a gutter on the upper part of my split level and would prefer to not climb onto a ladder or roof that high.
Yes, their website did have just the gutter attachment tubes. My tallest gutter (not in this video) is about 12 feet and I can reach it with this without issue but I do have to lift it over my head to reach it.
If you order the model number in the title it comes up as the right one. They have numerous versions with just a blower or vac bag etc. www.snowjoe.com/products/14-amp-high-performance-variable-speed-electric-4-in-1-blower-vacuum-mulcher-gutter-cleaner
im about to buy this but i need to understand something. for 14amps it says its 250mph, vac at 440cfm but the blower only at 150cfm. sounds like the blower is as weak as a cheap cordless. am i wrong? i hope so because its a powerful unit for electric but the blower sounds weaker than any other on the market

Never thought about using a. Leaf blower for gutters. That being said, why not vacuum the gutters instead of having all that crap blowing down on you?

Can the gutter attachment work with the vacuum? Sucking the leaf debris into the vacuum bag would be nifty.
Good demo. However, given the slow pace of vacuuming the leaves, I'd rake them away in a fraction of the time.
Thanks for the video!
Bought one, No gutter attachments 😩

Thank you 😎

What extension cord do you used? The product said it has 14-amp motor.
Use 14 gauge or larger.
You missed one configuration on your review, bagless mulching. It can make for a interesting experience if you don’t have it aimed the right way.
Guess the vacuum is great for touch up cleaning rather than wholesale leaf cleanup, because that seemed less than rapid.
It does a good job. No leaf vacuum will inhale a pile that size instantly.

That would be a question for the people that designed and sell it. I'm sure they have contact info on their website.
The blower is set up for max speed specs. I own 2 Sun Joe blowers. This one is good for roof cleaning and vacuuming and targeted high speed blowing.
