Keep it ! I upgraded to the 14pro max from the xsmax. I wasn’t impressed and the xs max feels way better in my hand. These new phones are heavy and the square edges are uncomfortable.

M4 to the iPhone? Well, I see things a bit differently : M4 = M3 upgraded for the new display and he ARMv9 Architecture (no big deal, if the Apps are not optimized for it, besides geekbench).
In fact, I suppose, Axx chips are developed in parallel, so, the best stuffs will still be in the iPhone, now (that wasn't the case until the iPad Pro 2017)

I’d be happy if they made the camera bump smaller 😊. … And the Dynamic Island. Please, Apple, make the DI smaller. Do you think that little bump in size for the pro will make a big enough difference to drop from the 15 plus? I’m tired of the giant screens but I still want to enjoy watching videos ❤

About to be 6 years with my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9. Have used it everyday since I got it, and It still runs great! Couldn’t be happier. Might wait till the M6 iPad Pro. Or when I have reached 10 years with my current iPad. 😏

I don't believe in M4 for iPhone 16 family.
The stripped version of M4 is A18. 2 P cores and 4-6 E cores. And a few less GPU cores. Another display engine and so on.

Its getting bigger this year. 6,1 will be 6,3 and 6,7 will be 6,9. but with less bazels

Nope, nope. I guarantee they will not put a screen on the back of the phone, a 4th camera, or the M4 chip in the Pro or Pro Max lol. But it'll be funny to see people disappointed by these ridiculous concepts not being in the new iPhone. I'll bet money none of these things will happen besides the bezels shrinking more....the dynamic island will continue to be used, the 3 cameras will just be slightly upgraded (at least one of them to 48mp/the ultra wide) and a useless camera shutter button.
It’s the same phone year end over and nothing special this time around. I doubt they can change my mind to buy that phone.

How about making the body thicker to hide the camera bumb, increase the battery storage by at least a factor of two, bring the iPad Pro display technology to the iPhone, all without any significant price increase.
As soon as they said that it was the thinnest iPad ever I knew that they wanted to make it thin so that it can get broken easier and people can pay for repairs and replacements!

Due to the over average heat wave in the United States of America my phone now overheats in the car so I don’t think I’ll update my smart phone companies address the heating issues. I’m just glad I don’t own an EV that would be a nightmare to keep cool.
Would like to see the Apple Pencil work with the iPhone. I don’t need a special stylus just for the iPhone; I always have my Apple Pencil with me and I could definitely use it on an iPhone Pro Max!

phones still quite thermally constrained for high powered chips vs ipads and macs though. m4 in a phone wouldnt get much actual performance unless they made phone much thicker or radical engineering solution to cool it. there are rumors they working on this but still not gonna be as good as physically inside a larger device.

M4 is 10+ watt chip. It is unsuitable for a phone- would drain battery fast (the big tablet has only 10 hours of battery life) and overheat.

If they bring the M4 to the iPhone this year then a folding iPhone might be here too. With the power of the M4 and AI a folding iPhone with an iPad mini size screen would be a great reason for me to come back to the iPhone and a great product.

Bruh saying the iPhone won't be thin because of the iPhone 6 bending problem is soul crushingly dumb. That issue was literally fixed in the iPhone 6s... which was only 0.2mm thicker (7.1mm vs 6.9mm). So they could EASILY make the iPhone thinner than it currently is without structural integrity issues. They just don't have thinness as the priority rn, like most other phone brands.

Honestly, if they do the iPhone 16 pro like the mocks shown on the video it would be a big thing, I have been using Samsung since the S3 and at least they changed the looks more than iPhone, I am now using an iPhone 15 pro and I can tell you nothing has changed in the looks department of the iphones apart from the cameras, if apple go the route of the video then cool but in all honesty… I highly doubt it.
Hate me for saying I don’t care, but have been using both android and iOS for some time now so I can say.
And for what I paid for the iPhone I could of brought a budget android and would of experienced the exact same thing, there is no difference between the two different devices.

The mini iPhone didn’t flop. I see those all the time in the wild. What I never see, is half the Android phones you see for sell. I see way more iPhone minis than I do Google Pixels. The iPhone mini just did bad against apples own offering. I wish they would bring back the mini.

I am dissapointed with the new iPad Pro. Its basically just the same iPad Pro but thinner with brighter display. Thats it. I would really enjoy bigger screen, shrinking the bezels. Thinner? Thats not important. Its not even that much lighter. Its basically the same weight as my iPad Pro 10,5 from 2017. Yeah, its 1 mm thinner than my iPad Pro 10,5. So what? I would much rather have ipad that is comfortable to hold instead of ipad that cuts into your hands.
What about the rest? The new, more future proof chip and better display. New pencil. iPads don’t have to be revolutionary every year. They might have a bigger jump every 5 or so years, and that’s fine to me. Do you really need that the iPad have to be that revolutionary every year? Do you really need thinner bezels on a form factor that is already hard to grab without touching the screen? It’s nice to have some update every year. Before, you had updates on iPad Pro every 2+ years. Now, I can have that gap shorter. It’s better to those who want to upgrade and would be on a “non iPad” year. At least you got something more.
I love that word. Future proof, as if you’re gonna use this IPad for the next two decades and not inevitably replace it. M1 is still plenty relevant and it came out 3 years ago on IPad, hell only the hardcore video editors/artists will use it to even 70% of its potential. You’re right, not sure what people were expecting other than slightly better screen, but I hate when people say future proof. My mom still uses my 2018 IPad Pro, shit’s plenty fast for her.

@@Winters11 Chip is NOT future proof. Your A12X or A12Z cant officially run Final Cut. Even tho the same chip (A12Z) was in a development kit of mac Mini for first mac with Apple Silicon and mac Final Cut absolutely can run on it. You are completely in the hands of Apple. They decide what your super expensive M4 iPad Pro will support in few years. And if they decide they want you to buy new iPad again, they will simply say that new features are supported only on the M5 again.
Apple can have the super computer or ai but if they cant improve the signal which apple iphone have been plagued for a decade will be useless…FIX the antenna and improve the signal connection is what they need to focus and non of this mambo jumbo or whatever.
