Thanks, helped me a lot. My ignition was stuck in LOCK and couldnt turn it to accessory. I bought some PB blaster and lubed the hell out of it and my key and finally got it to turn. After that it was a piece of cake
i need to rekey my ignition switch. I went to toyota today and realized the new key doesn't work in the ignition, but for the doors it does. I get a feeling the original ignition switch got replaced.
@@leepatton1180 I think you can call your local Ace Hardware and ask if they can do it, if not then try home depot or Lowe’s, call a locksmith maybe? If the key is still in one piece and can turn over

You didn't change the ignition switch. You only changed the barrel and key set. But at least it gets me that far. Thanks

You said you're replacing the ignition switch but that's not an ignition switch that is an ignition cylinder you have the wrong part
