I’m just getting into throwing smaller glide baits and hard swim baits. What specs (length, power and action) do you suggest for a rod to throw this technique? Thanks in advance and love the series!!
So this is what I was told by a guy that’s been bass fishing for pre spawn bass for 50 years. The whole red color lures in the spring has always worked and been a thing but nobody really knew about it. He said it works because in the winter time the crawdads burrow into the mud and that’s where they stay. When spring comes around that’s when they come out again and when they do they’re much more red in color than normal because the mud has kind of died them red because they were in there so long. It wears off after a while though so that’s why red only works this well during the spring. It’s the best explanation I’ve ever heard and it also makes sense.
@@rodri3161 go during spring to fall. I usually would find em up shallow under the shade or around the bridge. I've caught all mine on a craw, creature, or shaky head or some kind of worm
Mold allergies SUCK. Mold is apparently a HUGE issue in Phoenix, where we moved to recently, because of how much AC is used and the often 35 degree F swing between inside and out. My wife and I have been sick almost the entire 6 months we've been here.
Loving this series! I’m new to Texas and don’t have a boat so watching your videos is a great help! Wish some of the ponds you went to were closer to my area though.
@@TylersReelFishing Have you done any lakes in Lubbock? Itd be awesome for you to come and fish Dunbar or really any of the ponds in the little canyon lake system we have here in Lubbock!
You’ll get it soon! Whenever you have a fishing question or technique you want to learn, search “TylersReelFishing ____” on YT and in that blank, put the topic you are curious about. Odds are, ive already made a video about it👍🏼
Great video as always but more excited about new hybrid hunter colors... come on Tyler why didn't you announce it... that's big and I'm excited cause some of them look like game changers like tannic gill! Can't wait until my order comes in from TW!
I really wish I could say soon, but they just take so much work and usually get demonetized. Hard to put that much effort into something and not get a return.
Tyler this is Tyler here if my water is roughly 38 F is that way too cold for fishing? Im pretty much stuck with the river and resevior and its consistent 36-40 all the way down to the next dam. Should I even bother?
The brighter the better, and it is the base color that matters, not the outside mirror/lack of mirror. So Baja Bronze Ice is probably best. The problem is, that type of base for every day use, could become too bright. My eyes have gotten used to vapor ice and I can sight fish just fine with it.
Please for the love of bass fishing I hope the bag your helping design if it’s a back pack has a padded waistbelt, tackle bags are heavy and need waist belts!!
Hey sick video! How are you mounting your gopro on your chest? I don’t see a chesty or anything. Is there a magnet or something holding it behind your sunshirt? REVEAL YOUR SECRETS WIZARD!
Tyler do you have any videos on the process of getting permission on fishing these ponds? Not sure about Texas but most of these neighborhood ponds in Oklahoma are for the homeowners around only, so I'm wondering how you're getting permission to fish these ponds.
I can’t even find 10 ponds to fish. Much less 100. We have a lot of ponds around d here but they’re farm ponds for cattle and there’s no fish. Plus they’re private property. I have 1 pond I have public access to. Everything else is lakes and rivers.
With all ponds being pressured to almost suffocation. I decided to use bright colored lures. I've been using hybrid hunter jr gold and black, chartreuse and black and bone with blue. I have also used chick magnets (T's Special) all winter long. I've hit all winter long as well. 5 and 4 lbers. More of 3 and 2 lbers. I hit three bass today on a thundercricket with a chartreuse pepper fat Albert trailer l. I've also had luck with the H20 Xpress 0-1 chartreuse and black as well. Most of my big bass hit in 2 to 4 feet of water. Shallow 0-1 lures have been awesome for me. I'm in South Texas.

I would not say that it’s too cold, but definitely very cold. Suspending jerkbaits, blade baits, and drop shots are going to be your friend right now
Have you used a polarized filter on your camera to show us the difference polarized sunglasses make? 😎
Which Amphibia Lotus sunglasses do you recommend lens wise when bed fishing?

You just park in the neighborhood and fish them. Only once in this entire series has someone said something. Ask forgiveness, not permission
