I have a 1997 Disco 3 and replacing the rear brake rotors I got to the stage of adjusting the click wheel tight so about 90 Nm and then tried to click the wheel back 8 clicks and although it has small movement it won't go over the clicks. Almost bending a good sized screw driver but it won't budge? Also my adjust hole is at the bottom on the left hand side not the top like in your video. Any ideas please?
You mean 2007 Disco 3, in 1997 they had discovery 1. Not too sure about the exact reason, unless your brake shoes are worn out or just the rust and dirt built up has jammed the adjustment cog.
@@DISCO3_BEGINNER You probably know the LR Time German couple. He does it and removes the hand brake pads and there is another mechanism on there which requires setting before it is put back. Then after the disc rotor is on and the brake adjustor wheel is backed off 1 rev he turns the adjustor hole to line up with a small hex drive screw and tightens it to set this other little mechanism up? do you know about that?

@@DISCO3_BEGINNER Yes 2007 D3 thanks but the cog does move a little but it won't click over?

@mikebellamy i know LR time but have not watched the video you are mentioning. Sorry mate.
@@DISCO3_BEGINNER I think my only choice is to get a hydraulic pac and pull the rotor off the hub..
Put loctite on carrier bracket bolts
Do not loctite any bolts on the brakes WHAT😭
Don't use ceramic grease on pins it fails use silicone grease only
Can I use copper grease ?
