They were more excited about playing this one song than any other. Watch Page's face when they say their first "faceplant into rock" 2:05 He was so excited to drop that one in this new song. They are in love with that one. It truly is the best line ever in a song. My 8 year boy is in already in love with this song and saying it on the playground at school. Its my new favorite song for now.

@@roberta2602 They Played original new tunes. They made like they were covering an old 80's band that only put out one album , and Mike had made a tape and always played it. People were expecting a cover of this old album, and had a couple of articles on the internet @ the Scandinavian made up band. The Playbill at the show , of course portrayed this fictitious Band. It was all a big rouse. Phish Playing Phish. I'm sure we will be hearing some of this in the near future live at shows. Peace Bro

I've been listening to them for years, and I think they're fabulous!
I like Kasvot Växt's older stuff but some of their new stuff is just OK.
I've actually seen Kasvot Vaxt live in Oslo. My parents were super into them when I was a child and they based a whole family vacation around catching one of their shows.

Guys everyone knows phish made this all up so they could get their fans to pretend to like some of their new songs.
This got everyone so fired up. It was amazing. I tried to soak it in as much as possible. Loved it.
I'll never forget this show!! One of the best of any I have ever seen.

This set really was epic it really was. I watched the 4K stream on my couch and just couldn't believe it. this is what Phish is about. It's what it's always been about. It hasn't been about trying to get all overtly philosophical and deep with your lyrics. I got Hunter/Dead songs for that. That didn't mean (all of) these lyrics make no sense tho. They're beautiful.

I feel like it really pushed their music writing back towards the shit they were writing when I fell in love with this band 25 years ago. I could easily see "Passing Through" and "We Are Come To Outlive Our Brains" on A Picture Of Nectar.

lol. Wrong. The Languedoc is a signature Phish sound. He’s barely playing anything in this song. Even his rhythm has a different sound w this Strat.
@@berryseinfeld6772 Just close your eyes. Sounds like Trey. Plus, with that sustainer on the Ed O'Brien strat, you could do all the tricks needed to get through a regular set just fine. Not to take anything away from the Paul. It's amazing, just not crucial to the sound as some seem to think. It's more fingers than anything.

I live this album in the original Finnish/Icelandic/Norwegian, but this new English interpretation with all-white instruments gives that beloved classic whole new life. THIS is what Space smells like!

What a brilliant way to write songs that aren’t in the vein of their normal canon of music. And totally get away with it. This is one of the few bands that can actually do this.
What other band right now can do this? And it seems like the goal is to pump out danceable music , I’ll take it

Brilliant. Sounds like a luke warm reception on this one but I believe it can be a great vehicle into many different tunes. Thank God they're still writing new music.

I read your comment before the song really took off, and I felt a little defensive. I've always loved Trey's ear for tone, even when his tone changes, and I think his new rig sounds better than anything I've ever heard... BUT, then I HEARD him rocking the Strat and I gotta agree. I would LOOOOOOOVE to hear more stratocaster from Troy Antipasto next tour
