    lol! Good stuffMichael!
What's amazing is that we see Mike as a mental case when those of us who remain entrenched in the notion that life in the work place should be, or is only a tredery is more of a mental case senerio than what mike is expressing. What he norm is, or what is "normal" is not what we should condem ourselves to. A shift in attitude can make all the difference in the world. It can cause us to enjoy life more and live a healthier, longer life as well. Cheers!

This video has a great message.
Those who think this is stupid have few options:
    - don't watch all the video, you can stop any time
    - try a week with this attitude on (I don't say it's easy, after all we are used to complain and suffer) and after this try a week with your old attitude.
    It's simple!

What most people do not understand is that having this attitude is also in part the responsibility of the employers. Also there is an influence of the society here. Cause you can have this attitude yourself, but it won't last when at work you have colleagues and more important managers that try to attack it, that see your attitude and dedication as a danger to their positions. Furthermore you have the society which acts on different plans - worst approach is the education that is not focused on you skills and abilities and how to apply them to achieve what you want to do but on what they want you to do. And from there is starts "the war". Some rebel and become misfits some taking drastic actions and get in jail, other go from depression to depression. Others are trying to fit in the flow and not make waves and get in the position where they give up trying. After you finish whatever education you go on to a workplace where managers perceive you as a threat if you have a positive attitude and are dedicated so most get "under the radar" trying to keep their job. After a couple of years you become indifferent, you do what you are told and reach retirement age without exploring your potential. How can you act like this when you have a manager that does everything he can to overwhelm you with tasks, to put pressure on you, to keep you at work as much as possible because you are "the best in what you do". And when it comes to rewards he is in the spotlight taking credit and you just a footnote. Reward, motivation, recognition, promotions are words that won't reach the footnote.
On in all to get to that attitude in a healthy manner needs a healthy road starting from the birth. Otherwise is just faking.
PS nobody noticed something? Mike lives alone. Normally he would have woken up, went to bathroom, after in kitchen he would have ate breakfast with his family and so on, taking them to school... But in this society the accurate image of a successful employee is this - a lonely person dedicated to its work in such a measure that all he does is wake up, wash, go to work, never leave work and his social life lacks parts or stagnates at least. And being social individuals you cannot have a positive attitude as a employee if you do not have a healthy balanced happy social and family life. Which most of the managers tend to forget when they ask you to work overtime and "put in the hours" most of the time literally blackmailing the employee with future promotions, raises or bonuses and career advancements and so on

A lot depends on things at home & office. If we super charge ourselves in toxic environments, it eventually burns us down and we slowly slip into depressive & anxious.
