I can't believe I missed this sketch. There are tears streaming down my face. The Carole King slide absolutely broke me. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. I knew I could just pause the video, but I was worried I'd never be able to laugh that hard ever again if I stopped. This is the greatest sketch ever produced by SNL.

My mother revealed that, after she arrived and before I did, she started hearing an electronic beeping sound. Desperate to turn it off, she started pushing all the buttons on all of the devices in my living room. In the process, she ended up turning off one of the input switches I regularly used. It turns out that the mysterious beeping to which she was responding was her mobile phone ringing.
You gotta remember there were a couple decades where every woman was wearing those vests. They've just been forgotten, but I bet there's a lot of funky ones out there
