For anyone trying this on a Q8/SQ8/RSQ8… it’s even more tricky due to all the extra sturdy tabs and rubber inserts. And damn those springs that hold the airbag… are so hard. At least on my SQ8.
Fight the good fight and try to not to break too many clips… you got this 🤝

Once you get a feel for it, you could do the whole thing in under an hour. I had actually forgot to reinstall one of the screws and had to take the whole thing apart again. Took me just over 30 minutes the second time. It’s mostly feel and getting a hang of it. I tried to convey anything that helped in the video. I spent a bunch of time off camera fiddling around.

How much are the paddles? There is no way I’m taking all of that apart. It’d never go back together! I’m guessing it’s a “2 hour” labor charge at $125+/hr from the dealership. Probably around $350-$400 complete??

Paddles are about $150 plus tax if you use our code in the description. It took me about 2 hours the first time since I had never done it before. After putting it together, I realized I forgot to put two screws back in, and took everything apart and back together in less than 30 minutes. I’m not going to lie, it’s a pain, but I really like the upgrade.
