Steve could not run away when a fan asked him to take more bites... 🤣.... Ivana loves the stinky tofu... 🤣🤣🤣... Steve could not believe it... 😂... pushing each boundary.... excellent guys... your sincerity amazed me all the time....
Steve your facial expressions said it all. I can not try anything that smells bad. Brain allready telling me I won't like it. Ivana loved it and Ken could eat it!! Very surprised. Entertaining video. Keep safe and healthy.
Taiwanese answer to Blue Cheese I suppose. I woudnt touch either one with a ten-foot-pole 😄 For "bad" food use black holes as rating instead of stars...I like your idea Steve.
Always see Ivana finish Steve's food...some of Asian foods are wierd taste but delicious for Asians... But I'm proud to see Steve attempt to try any food...Good Job bro!
Woohoooo....stinky tofu, yup, it's very famous in Taiwan, Hong Kong and certain places in China. Haha Steve, your face expression after that first bite, already confirmed that you couldn't accept it. For Ivana, it was alright 👍👍 Anyway, at least, you both were brave enough to try...bravo guy !!! It was a surprise to know Ken could accept it. Good job Ken 👏👏
Stinking Tofu.... NICE!!! It doesn't taste as bad as it smell...It's fermented deep-fried tofu and I thought they would have given pickles to go with it...Steve love durian but hate stinking tofu...Surprising, Ken can still tolerate it... Stay safe, happy exploring
This is only 2/3 of the normal due to the pandemic, they cut short by 1/3 , and less dense which safely said its only 50% of its normal stalls capacity
The longest Night Market in Malaysia is in Setia Alam, about 45mins from downtown KL. More than a kilometer long. 9:10 - Ivana is an Asian 13:00 - Ken could have an Asian wife
I tried stinky tofu just to spite those who could not tolerate them and slowly grew to like and enjoy them. However, for first timers, it would be more manageable with sauce first, but not with mayo (as it will be quite surfeiting). The stinky tofu I usually go to serves them with some chili sauce and sauerkraut, so, the taste is actually blends quite well. Sometimes, you can have them with sweet sauce if you can't take spicy.
That smell is when a drain clogged with greasy food oil . Is fermented tofu. If u like durian does not mean u like this tofu. Some peoples like the tofu and ended like the smell😷😷. I agreed with ken, taste different than the smell n i m quiet surprise with ken response. I also agreed with ivana i can go more few pieces.
Stinky tofu is stinky, like durian to some too! It's famous in Hong Kong, Taiwan & China. Ivana & Ken surprisingly you both have no qualms about eating it! 🤣🤣👍👍👍
Is stinky tofu one of the condiments that they serve with rice porridge in the morning? If so, I think it's meant to be eaten in tiny pieces along with the porridge. I thought it was pretty good. There reason I ask is because I wonder if the item I describe above, which you usually encounter at hotel breakfast buffets next to the rice porridge pot, along with the salted fish and salted eggs, is "stinky tofu". It definitely is stinky, very salty, and sort of has the consistency of cheese.
Whoooaa.. didn't aspect this.. Ken the fish disliker eating stinky-tofu!! 🤯 I give him that.. he's a daring guy, a real gestapo.. 💪👌 And Steve is a whimp next to him.. 😉 😂😂
I think I had tried it before when I went for a trip to Guangzhou, China. It does not smell bad and I eat them with the sauce. Quite good taste actually.
When it's really smelly, it's the oil (overused) or even bad toufu. If you get known good doufu, it's not that stinky. There are a few places where you get that. I'll try Connaught.
Aloha guys. Oh man. I pinched my nose listening to you and watcing you cringe... i can smell it all the way over here on our Island! hahaha. My folks are chinese americans born in Vietnam, they have traveled through Malaysia during their younger years. This is definitely one big strip mall to check out one of these days in our future travels. But I will pass on the stanky tofu!
Bravo, you guys are brave!!! I have never tried it although l heard a lot about the stinky toufu. I hope to try it one day and to smell it if it’s really sewage. Lol ! Ivana eats anything and everything, Surprisingly Ken can swallow it. And Steve, amazing description of the toufu, lol ! Nose blind, ... new phrase to me.
I can have blue cheese for snack, stinky tofu for dinner, and durian for desserts, and people call me the man of stinky culture😎 but yet to try the ultimate Surströmming tho🔥
I have never tried stinky tofu before, but I heard you need to dunk it in chili / sweet sauce. Most people who liked it said gotta go with the chili sauce.
People have smelling preference. Some people like to eat blue cheese. Even Durian is quite extreme to some people yet they eat blue cheese. Stinky tofu, natto. Have tried all but stinky tofu yet. They are not bad for me, so probably will be alright for me I guess.
Damn..., u have to dip in some sauce. Well..., I am not a fan of stinky tofu too, but not too bad feeling, but I am okay with the crispiness of the stinky tofu, just the flavor, it's not entirely bad for me....., just weird.......
Tbh it you have spent more time mingling with other cultures in the country, you'll find this stinky toufu to be commonly found across the country night market. It isn't weird but just a lack of exposure (despite coming to 10 months in Malaysia)
So funny to see steve struggling eating this 😂😂

Usually the stinky tofu comes with a red hot sauce, not sure why they gave you the mayo sauce

Its a complex taste. I had it but on the 4th one i did taste the smell and yes the sauce is not nice
Omg stinky tofu is funny! But most of Malaysian food is so delicious!
0.59 the girl show peace finger !
I recommend taken with chilli sauce or hot soya sauce.
I've not tried stinky tofu, but I'm a fan of tofu... I love durian too.. so I might like stinky tofu😁
Please be safe. Stay away from crowded areas like this night market....KualaLumpur and Selangor, still having bad covid cases so far...
Tofu should be eaten hot/ warm when the skin is still crispy. Should also be eaten with chilli sauce.
I love stinky tofu
Stinky tofu exactly smell like stingky socks😨
