Hi damien, we are loving your Malaysia series, all the vlogs have been great but this video it your best EVER video, we loved it, we have watched every single video you have put out and we have added Malaysia to our bucket list because of this video
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. Good to see d pasar malam, d night open markets, back to life in biz as usual. They weren't around in d last 2 years of lockdown.
This is the right way to explore..going to new places instead of just the same jalan alor which is nothing great..there is so many places in Malaysia worthy to explore
You captured the atmosphere really well, along with awesome close-ups of the cooking and the food. Foodie blogging is a great addition to your repertoire. Well done Damian. 👏👏
The night market looks great. The foods looks really inviting and delicious. I bet if I go there, will be very hard to choose what to eat 😃. Another nice vlog and the quality of the videos is amazing.
This is malaysia version of famous Taiwan Shilin night market.. this night market before pandemic the stall crazily place next to each other 4 lanes...but post pandemic less stall now as they still observe some distancing.
Back the in past, in 2000s, it was selling swords, knives, outdoor axe, binoculars, bb guns, it was wild. And there was street show, kung fu demo exhibition.
Great video..Always nice to see what food options there are in the markets. All the food looked nice. my only thing is the plastic...but this is Asia unfortunately..
Damien, someone here says you are handsome.. You should have told your new fans you are from Italy (you got Italian accent).. Nice vlog as always my friend..
Damian, I'd like to ask you if you've ever had "upset belly" (diarrhea) because of trying food from other countries. I'm now in Bali and I'm having this "Baly Belly" which is very annoying haha. Thanks for the video by the way, great to know more about KL, where I'm going next month.
Thanks Damian it was interesting to see. I'll not argue that it's too much meat because I'm a Vegetarian. But I would like to eat the Stinky Tofu "thingi" and so I saw that they had a Seaweed burger at the Special burger place. The problem is that I can not eat something that has been on the same frying pan as meat without it being washed in between. When I'm with my friend Oka in Bali, he has to ask them to be careful to distinguish my food from meat. Selamat makan Damian.
Actually in Malaysia food is cheap because of the food subsidies, then people can enjoy cheap foods, and also in Malaysia petrol is cheap then transportation is cheap, other electricity is cheap too, then people can use trains, MRT, LRT, and Monorail for a good price, water supply for restaurant has subsidies then people can enjoy cheap drinks from a restaurants. Compare in European countries, everything is expensive because here don't have subsidies, only upper class people can enjoy meal from the restaurant. Lower class and middle class people just enjoy cheap food like sandwiches, kebab, panini, and tacos, the price is between 3€ to 6€.
If I'm not mistaken, he's from UK, met his wife, here in Malaysia. But I'm not sure where d slang comes from. Damian, please correct me, as I'm quite a new subscriber to your channel.
Soo basically all of you are little bit right haha. Originally I’m from Poland - Central Europe, then I used to live almost 5 years in UK. I also met my wife here in Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur haha. Thanks guys
