- So I am just out from a two week retreat, deep in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest... I was only eating brown rice, quinoa, oats, dry plantain and a little bit of coal cooked local fish for the duration.. I left all electronic 'toys' alone until the very last day, when I filmed this just before sunset (and the bugs REALLY began to bite!)

I really like the headphones experience. It is incredible to hear what you would be hearing audio perspective wise. Especially with the water stream movement and the 3:18 bird calls. Truly beautiful!
+Anthea Yur it's a trip hey! They are not the highest of quality as they are Bluetooth and create a strange compression but it's soooooooo much better than the board mic of the iPad ;)
Oh, absolutely! Just Bluetooth headphones? I think they sounded significantly better than what I would have expected with just Bluetooth headphones. It really isolates the white noise the right amount. :)

Thank you for doing what you do. Just beautiful! I was listening to you and my 7 year old grandson with ADHD came in. He immediately got on my lap and said "this is calming." The difference in him is amazing to say the least and he wants to listen constantly. I'm going to try to get him a cheap one for Christmas as he loves it so much.

Daniel thank you for such an arduous effort with nature, the result is astonishingly creative and sonically rich in tonal diversity. It would be pleasurable to experience further binaural recordings. Not just from preserved beautiful natural scenic locations, though from all manner of environmental and social offerings.

I'm really glad that I waited to watch this until I was somewhere that I could actually relax and appreciate it, thanks again music man. Also, have you tried a 50/50 mix of Detol and water, in a little squirt bottle, to spray on your skin? It helps stop mosquitos from landing on you as much.

Those bluetooth mics sound great. Do you still recommend them? they are currently on sale and I'm thinking of getting them.

Daneil, I am wondering - I know you use Pan Amor drums a lot, what do you use to amplify your drum, and how do you store/carry it around? I'm not sure Pan AMor do bags?

Not sure why you think you diet would be of interest (description), but the video is truely beautiful.
I have a question:
I've seen only a hand full of your videos now and I always wondered why their are never any sounds from the surroundings, your videos all sound like they were recorded in a studio. Except for this one. How is that possible?
I tend to over talk perhaps ;)
But check out the link in the info box on the video.. I used a Bluetooth set of headphones that recorded with a mic in each ear ;)

Thanks for the reply. I think I made my question not quite clear. My question was not concerning this video, but concerning most of your other videos. In the videos I've seen so far (for example the one that starts playing when one is visiting your channel), I can never hear any background noises even though they are recorded in public. Do you edit the background noise out, or how do you do that? :)
