Plasti Dip multi-purpose coating is ideal for a broad array of do-it-yourself projects around the home, garage, garden, and elsewhere. With so many colors, your craft and DIY possibilities are endless!
Protects coated items against moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, and skidding/slipping, and provides a comfortable, controlled grip. Remains flexible and stretchy over time and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions. Proven in temperatures from -30°F to 200°F Peelable and removable off of most surfaces.
Always protect surrounding areas from overspray. Allow 4 hours per coat for complete dry. If runs or sags are experienced, move can further away from surface. To avoid clogged nozzle, turn can upside down and spray for 5 seconds. If clogged, remove nozzle and soak in naphtha or mineral spirits for 30 minutes. Do not stick pin or other objects into stem. Use naphtha, xylene (xylol), or toluene (toluol) for cleanup. To greatly increase non-skid properties, sprinkle a generous amount of grit onto wet surface of first coat. Apply at least two additional coats of Plasti Dip. For best results, use a pumice (crystalline silica) grit. Results may vary with other grit additives. As far as I know dip coat will just give a smoother finish and darker appearance and won't feel as tacky as raw plasti dip

Mr. Von Panda, I am now convinced you have partnered with Google to direct 90% of your videos directly at me. For about the 5th time Ill say, you and I literally buy the same stuff about a week apart on a regular. I just plasti dipped the wifes cayenne wheels. I used 2k clear coat instead of dip coat and loooove the results. Butttt... I have been looking for other stuff to plastidip (it was kindve addicting) and have been curious about the dip coat.
One of us should buy a private jet so the other one gets one too!

Just use Turtle Wax ICE spray wax, it's the same stuff.
Dip coat is supposed to be reapplied pretty regularly, so a 3 month test isnt really a test of the dip coat, since it isnt intended to last even a month afaik
Why don’t you wash them off and clean them and then see how they look. It’s like an incomplete science project
