Hi guys, it’s Mike & Jen here. You both are such a joy to listen to. We would love to know where you stayed. I know Thailand is a long way from British Columbia Canada, but it’s definitely going to be our next destination. We loved our two months in NZ. I have written you before …you might not remember.

The place we stayed in is called The Astra. It is fabulous and you will find it on booking dot com. There is also the Shangri-La Hotel which is gorgeous and very reasonable. We highly recommend Thailand, if you are looking for a more touristy beachy vibe then go South, but we love Chiang Mai.

The cost of dental care in NZ is crazy . I can't believe how much cheaper it is in Thailand.

I'm heading to Greece after xmas, looking to get my choppers sorted out while I'm there, I'd like to get some implants put in. Almost impossible for me to get an NHS dentist, partly because i keep moving with my job, had a tooth out privately a few months ago cost me £250...ouch. You're both looking good, love Thailand, the people are just great.
Oh, Greece! How lovely! Please let us know how the dental work goes, I have not looked not dental work there but I bet it is great.

Interesting. I've heard that it was cheap and high quality in Thailand but never known anyone who had actually been there for dental care. My top teeth are knackered and at least half of them have been removed. $350 a week that's a he'll of a lot cheaper than the rent people are paying here
