I am about to get this a cheaper one for 130. I had the cheaper one with a ring and cats keep scratching the ring so it tore. Can't keep um out strays. Do you think the material could take cats scratching it?
I bought this same pool in October 2021 for $78 so summer of 2022 was my first summer to use it. It is absolutely worth every penny I spent for it. Yes it is only 30" deep but all I do is float in it or sit on pool noodles. I bought a heavy duty plastic step stool to get in because I am only 5'1". Great for a few friends sit around in and cool off and have a good time. I am draining it right now to put away for winter as I am in STL and the weather has cooled off and pool season is over. Thanks for the links to the extra items!
We had a 15 ft. It was just a little too big. Fun forvteenagers during lockdown because they really could get wild and have fun however it was a beast to clean every day and it got cold easily if the weather turned chilly. We live in southern MN. I got the o e you have ordered, I think it will stay a little warmer, be a little easier to keep Clean, and be a little more easy to get in and out for grandma or aunties because 4 feet ladder vs this shorter ladder. Way safer. And we had same pins as you issue, not a biggie. Not much rust like you. Just decided to get the same brand but your size!!! Yay!!! Happy summer on the way!
@BigBudde update, we love it! It stays so much warmer than the 15' × 4'. I put it together by myself with hardly a hand from my husband. The lady I gave our old pool to says her kids love it but it's too cold for her. I told her the kids can swim at her house then and mommas at my warmer pool! I bought a nice solar cover for it too, which fits perfectly.
I had one of these pools at my old house and i'm shopping around again to get one. Im trying to decide if I want to buy the same (regular) or the prism. I think I paid about $100 many years ago and only used the pump it came with, but I also added the salt system and loved it! Unfortunately the salt system has changed, hopefully it works as well as the original version. I put a heavy duty tarp underneath and then sand. I also added small pavers and buried them in the sand to stand the legs on for more durability. I also sprayed every piece of the frame with clear rustoleum.
@@allysongay8874 I had the pool for only 2 years and then sold the house but I never had any problem with the pump. The salt system definitely kept it clean and you dont get that chlorinated smell like you would with tablets. I wish I had thought of it sooner and left just the pump with the pool and took the salt system with me!
We just got the Prism one and I like it a lot. maybe even better. I will do a comparison video soon! Buy on Amazon. thank you for your comment. be sure to subscribe!
@@BigBudde I already bought the prism, same size! Got mine online at Walmart, made sure it was sold by them and not a 3rd party since they have a longer return policy. Hi! I ordered THIS ONE on Amazon: Intex 28633EG Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 2500 GPH Pump www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005QIYMNM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
There's different types of bladder pools The higher in ones are legacy and splash Those have a 30-year warranty And you can build full decks around them and winterize without ever having to take them down I have a legacy I live in Michigan It's never been taken down It's been up for 18 years
I live in ky. We put a pool up in 1999. We took it down in 2017. Someone else put it back up. Only thing we did was replace the liner every 5 years. And we replaced the pump around year 15. I'm getting ready to put one of these up as I have small kids and want something small. But I loved my childhood pool. Highly recommend spending the extra. I think we paid 2500 for a 24x52 pool in 1999. Definitely got the money out of it.

Lol getting one! Nice video, munes coming without the pump but the upgraded pump you listed is rated for a much bigger pool, everything fit right as far as connection sizes etc.?! Thanks
So connection sizes were to big , we went ahead and did some searching in comments and a lot of people suggested getting a pair of intex 1.25” to 1.5” type b hose adapters so we did and also had to her some plunger valves since they were not included with the pump which we didn’t know until we went to set the pump up , it does say on the link he posted they aren’t included but I didn’t look through all that . So waiting for those to come in by tomorrow and hopefully everything should work and fit properly.

@BigBudde Sounds 👍. Just bought the Grey prism one. I set it up. It's only problem is I didn't level the ground to well It's 1 inch higher on one sid. I will need to install it better next year.
