I’m going to grow these for the first time. Are they photoperiodic? I want to grow them in zone 8b that gets hot and dry in summer. Trying to figure out if I should start early spring in greenhouse in root trainers or later after the highest heat. ( 102-114f for 2 6-8 weeks)
Considering that these are popular in India where there are hot and dry summers they should suit your growing conditions. The flower and produce pods in summer. They are also perennial. If you have cold winters you can start them in plant pots they need ample room for root growth. Thank you for watching
