I like everything very much, I am delighted with your work, I am collecting a list of all the plants that I would like to buy for my syntropic farming in Spain, I have 4.6 hectares of land in the climate zone between 9A - 9B (minimum - 4 degrees Celsius, usually the temperature is not drops less than -1, - 2 degrees in winter). Annual precipitation is 500 mm, but unfortunately in the last 3 years precipitation has been decreasing.
We also grow jack beans growing throughout our property. Our kids love planting the seeds! Do you all eat the beans or roast to use as a coffee substitute? I'm looking for recipes but haven't found much as far as coffee substitute goes.
Here in NC. I think its to late for me to plant bananas in the ground but I've seen your older videos and will like to buy some pups from you next year.
I have a dilemma in using such species as the Singapore daisy, which is very invasive, or Acacia saligna, next to it there is just a state forest with a plot written in the documents that I must take permanent protective measures for the neighboring plot, I am afraid that some species are not allowed to plant by the legislation of the European Union . However, I am very annoyed by the old approach of "ecologists" who have huge paranoia about invasive species. In fact, invasive types are a viable solution as support types, but they require proper management.
You lost me, sorry. What is so special about Jackbeans? Is it a nitrogen fixed or just a prolific mineral miner, it just a chop and drop? What zones did it grow in? Is it perennial or annual? Why do you like it? I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt, however if you want you channel to grow as well as your plants you might want to think about those types of questions. It would add value and time to your videos. However I'm only one person without a channel, so take my advice with a grain of salt. The best of luck to you. I like what I see in general. You appear to know what you're doing, lol.
The jack bean grows fast and shades the soil before other weeds establish. It can be cut for mulch releasing nitrogen to the other plants. What's not to like?
