- I really can't believe I'm in college. This is weird. I genuinely didn't think I'd ever go, but here I am. Today marks a new chapter so lets talk about why I decided to go now that I'm 22 and take you through a little bit of my day! Here's to a cute lil college vlog!

This was really refreshing to watch. I’m 20 years old and I’m about to start college next week. Not gonna lie I’m nervous about being older than most of my classmates but I’m excited about this new chapter I’m gonna experience.

I initially started at 22 as well and DROPPED OUT! I wasn't ready. Now I just finished my first college semester at 24 years old. This time constraint we give ourselves is definitely a social construct! Like you said, some people do things on their own time. Videos like this motivated me to start college because I realized I wasn't alone. And these videos inspired me to upload my own POV of starting college "LATE". We might be late to the party, but we might just make the party!
I’m 25 and I’ll be starting for the 5th time. Failed twice and had to drop out twice cos of finances. This 5th time???? I am definitely getting that degree ❤

I started college in 22 , I lost 3 years because of depression
Same I’ll be 21 this year and even though I’m still working my way out of those feelings I’m finally just going to go. I’m excited and I hope you’re doing amazing now! Although depression sucks it’s cool to see someone that has been here persevere. God bless you!
You didn’t “lose” anything. You had a setback because you had mental health issues and that’s fine. Be kind to yourself. Maybe you would have been more depressed if you actually went. Im same as you. You got this!

I am in the same exact boat on what you said about when you were 17 I still wasn’t exactly sure about what I wanted to do although I had ideas but didn’t think I could do the school part. Making this video really helps 😊
I might be going to college at 21 and I kind of felt bad that I'd be behind from my peers, but watching this has reminded me that everyone moves through a different pace. So I can't wait to start soon!

im here because i am 22 and after struggling for years working replaceable minimum wage jobs i decided i can not live like this anymore and enrolled in college after moving from coast to coast on my own. i know i will be older than a lot of people but i will also be younger than many too i am sure. this was really refreshing to watch, i hope you are doing well.

Im 33 going to college. I have my Real Estate license and my own a waxing business but I want more consistent income. So I researched and found a career that I think id like with a decent salary. I'm terrified if Im being honest. Pray for me!

No such thing as being too late as I am also 22 but I still have about 2 more years left of college. As I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do at age 18 so I started premed and then after 2 years I started to realize that this program wasn't for me and I had some engineering internships and now I am pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering while finishing my degree at my own pace since I am also building work experience at an Oil and Gas company. And through college I met people in in their 30s, 40s, and even 80s so in the grand scheme of things you are never too late to better yourself.
definitely no such thing!! sometimes the pressure of society can make us feel so behind but we have the power to step into any stage of our lives when we feel ready to take it on. On the other hand life can really push us to experience new things to show us how strong and capable we are to handle something we thought we couldn't! Youre spot on, never too late to better ourselves. Were constantly growing and thats such an exciting thought.
This video made me feel so much more confident and im glad im not alone. I started uni at 17 and it was the most confusing thing. I dropped out due to financial issues and moving and im 20 and going to start Uni. Maybe I wished I could have started at 19 but thats just my brain trying to convince me im left behind. Much love to all of us who are going through the same situation

I'm 19 and my parents have been pressuring me about college since I was 14. Its so fucking annoying they won't let me live and find my own path.
Woaahhhh 14?! Pressure from parents can be a bit too much sometimes. I understand you and I hope you find a way to communicate with them what you have in mind for yourself. It’s your life and you should have the say as to what you’d like to pursue and when. Wishing you good luck with that 😌

Starting in your twenties there is a very minimal difference between you and other 18 year olds starting especially if you’re starting from 19-23. No one will notice or care and you won’t look older. Trust.

Just graduated high school and I have been trying to get into the mindset of having my own path and going at my own pace, despite what those around me may be doing. I feel like there is so much pressure for us to have our entire lives mapped out by 18 and it’s unrealistic. Thank you so much for this!!

Too many ppl have too many opinions on how to live our lives but honoring what we feel we need and want despite others opinions is the truest for of bravery that leads to a life of happiness and fulfillment. This whole “we should be this at a certain age” is made up. Do what you feel the need to do at your own pace. You have so much time - you got this and I’m rooting for you!!
