Some time ago. You're a decade late.
He is risen indeed.
Greetings from Nairobi (Kenya).
I woke this morning and listened to this before heading to mass the Monday after Easter. What a wonderful summation of and exclamation point to Resurrection Sunday. Thanks, my strong brothers.

Hey, you guys just blew my plan to get into heaven wide open. I was planning to do just that, slide in safe into purgatory as you would do in baseball. To do the worst job that might have existed in purgatory even if it meant being there "ten thousand years". You guys have changed my mind. Thanks
This video changed my life. Thank you thank you thank you. Happy Easter and greetings from Brazil. 🇧🇷

Dr Hahn, I need to ask you a question please? Saint Augustine commented about the words, they believed ( they believed that the body of Jesus was stolen ) for they did not yet believe or ( understand ) that our Lord will rise from the dead... Because, honestly, they saw and believed makes no sense when we read the next words... Also because Mary Magdalene told them that the body of Jesus has been removed... I don`t know if my question is clear? But honesstly, the explanation of Saint Augustine makes perfect sense...
Dear Dr. John Bergsma: Please make your The Word of the Lord Year B be available in Kindle edition. I have the Year A, Year C and the Solemnities and Feasts, the Year B - I don't. I can only afford the Kindle copy because I am from the Philippines, it is cheaper in ebook edition. Please consider this little request. Salamat po.
I don't think that John is deferring to Peter, but John had a generous spirit, and sought to share the experience of discovering the empty tomb together with Peter, wanting to include Peter. If you say that John's generosity was deference, you'd have to classify Christ's washing the disciples feet the same way. John, like Christ, had a spirit of service & humanitarianism and compassion. So John wasn't below Peter. John had more compassion than any of the disciples. and he also had more courage than any of the disciples. After all, John was the only disciple who didn't run and hide from Roman authorities at Christ's Crucifixion. It was he, along with the women, who stood publicly in support of Christ at his most difficult moments. I especially appreciate John's compassion towards women. No one has ever done more for women than Jesus Christ. And it was John who recorded all of Christ's important interactions with women.
Indeed, both are part of the amazing maggisterium, but the gospel demonstrated John has a deep respect for Peter as a leader. John is such a humble and wise apostle.
32:22 - - *INTERESTING - - Jesus was more interested in pedagogy - - TEACHING - - - rather than just TELLING others who He was - - He TAUGHT + SHOWED them in a way that ALLOWED THEM as students to put 2 and 2 together for THEMSELVES - - allowing them to REALIZE who He was. He SLOWLY + GRADUALLY revealed His Divinity - - through His parables & MIRACLES. A good teacher will do that - not just try to “force” wisdom & truth onto someone or take away their free will, free agency or ability to think for themselves. And if they are offering truth - - the student will return to learn more.*
*Also - the CCC states that God reveals Himself to man GRADUALLY. A Divine gentleness.*

Are they in front of a green screen?

"Jesus takes salt in Acts 1:3"; what does this mean? I cannot find this anywhere in the scriptures.
It simply means " eating", an old expression similar to "breaking bread"
I'm with you Hermit. Acts 1:3 does not mention salt. I checked NIV, KJV and Douay Rheims. Methinx error somewhere.
Thank you, Joyful Easter Greetings!!
The sticky burial cloths part is in my head. Does this mean you do not believe the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of Jesus? There is no sticky residue present. And the women arrived early Sunday morning to anoint the body of Jesus.I always pictured Jesus being quickly wrapped in the shroud and placed in the tomb without anointing because of the sabbath. Regardless, the most important thing is that Jesus rose from the dead and saves us, alleluia!
Maybe the residue decayed with time. Maybe they did not completely annoited the body, they had to bury him quickly because of Passover. But indeed I wished they went deeper talking about that.
View Fr. Spitzer's talk on the Shroud of Turin.;,it explains beside blood what was on the shroud, plus the separate face coveting is explained.
Beautiful. But Jesus didn't "deceive the Deceiver." Satan was blind and ignorant when he instigated Jesus' death, but Jesus did not deceive him.
Your heads are exploding? How about "rank and file" soldiers like me ?
How about implosion, decomposition and ossification !?
