I have ehlers danlos syndrome and every minimal pimple on my face transforms on a huge atrophic scar, sometimes I feel down bc even if I only have like 5 pimples each year I get 5 new scars
My GP told me there is no relation between acne and endometriosis. But I didnt believe that, just because it isn’t proven scientifically that doesn’t mean it isn’t a thing. I have been struggling with adult acne for about 4 years now. My skin cleared when I completely gave up refined sugars and it comes back whenever I start eating it again.
My endo specialist - in fact not one, but four specialists from different parts of the world have told me there is a connection. But what's most important is you have found a way that helps your skin. In fact giving up refined sugars helps endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, and a whole host of medical issues. Refined sugars in general aren't the best thing for us!

Hello and thank you for your information. I have been dealing with endometriosis for several years but finally diagnosed at the age of 20, but never thought about how it affected my acne. I have began a new UA-cam channel as well to discuss my illness and some things that I am using to put me in such a better direction.
