I've just tried this with my new Pico. Third use and first success. My first fail was forgetting to change the grind from cafetiere. My second was grinding too fine. This one tastes good, although very little crema. Having said that I only used 16g of dark roast beans and used the lid for safety. Thanls for the idea
Lungo is a type of espresso, just a longer shot. If you dilute your espresso with water, then it will be an Americano resulting in a milder and larger beverage.
@@theoreticalapproach5666 thk you for the idea. many time light/ medium roast is too acid. then we could increase brew time to tame the acid and increase for more extraction %, and this will get light/ medium with more balance/ favor and sweetness. this is a very good technique.

Surely the idea of lungo is very promising! I totally agree with you! The espresso - double shot - is such a waste of coffee! 😊
Glad you like it. Thanks for watching
What was your beans in to brew out ratio for this lungo? Just got a picopresso myself and would love to try this
Which grinder do you use? It looks beautiful
option o lagom mini
taste compare to filling the pure water after th extraction ? is it hard to drink from this ratio without any solute the coffee ?

Presumably higher extraction yield. For light roasted coffee, extracting longer or brewing at higher temperature can tame the acidity.
