I just made this tonight...and it was simply fantastic! My Swiss French husband (who lived many years in France) was VERY impressed and loved it. Heard of it, but never tasted this classic dish from Sete Here in Spain, as you know, 'cigalas' (what I call mini-lobsters) are common and were an impressive decorative topping and worth the struggle to get out that delicious bit of meat from the tail. And of course we have rape/lotte fish here. 3 mussels each plate and it was not only gorgeous but a supremely delicious evening meal. I topped the fish with julienne of carrot and leek sauteed in butter and finished off with a bit of the fish broth. The cigalas and mussels added much to the broth. Thank you again!
