Your video immediately helped me. I can't believe how difficult it's been to find a simple downloadable fire sound. No birds, no crickets, nothing else in the background, just fire. Thank you!
Hey I just stumbled across your videos and I wanted to say that this was so clearly explained and perfectly detailed. I'm definitely going to go through the rest of your videos. This deserves more views
PLEASE make a video or a few about which modules to start with as a new foundry user and perhaps a list to add on later in the order you'd recommend !!! Thanks!!! Also add Tabletop audio as well.
Maestro/Soundboard should work on all systems as far as I'm aware. I don't see anything on the project page to notify otherwise. If you find that's not the case, please let me know.
Hello Mr. Weaver. Your explanation was great, but I have a question and perhaps you could help me. The Maestro module seems to conflict with the midi-qol module, it kills the sound that was assigned using Maestro. Is there a way to bypass this issue or am I doing something wrong? Thanks again for the great video.
Hmm... That's odd. I'll take a look later. I use MIDI-QOL but I haven't noticed that problem. I don't use the MIDI-QOL sound effects option in case that affects things in any way.
@@mr.weaver6742 Thanks for the response. As I have read, there seems to be an issue with sound on attacks and midi-qol. If you find a way to make them work I will gladly appreaciate the help. What I read can be found in github page for midi-qol.
@@LuisGonzalez-mn3el Sure thing. I can't say why then, but I'm using both MIDI-QOL and Maestro and the sound effects are playing for me. I'm fully updated on Foundry 0.7.9. I hope you're able to get it to work at some point down the line.
@@mr.weaver6742 hello, it turns out that midi-qol kills audio for me, but...my players can still hear it and I can hear them when they use the item or spell with a sound assigned.
I'm just looking for an easy way to find sounds for and add sounds to items. I'm surprised no ones made a pack that will just add sound effects to all items. Plus sounds for crits.
When you set an item sound on an actor it will stick around with them no matter the scene. That's a good question about attached sounds though, I'll check that out later today.
I did test it out. I attached a sound, locked the element, and copied and pasted it to a new scene. It brought over both the token and the sound and attached the sound. I didn't test it with any modules that move tokens from scene to scene (multilevel/trigger happy) so I can't guarantee it working with that.
I've noticed that the Token Attacher module doesn't work well with modules that turn tokens on movement like About Face. Is there any workaround for this?

Hey there friend, what sound pack did you download or find for this. I've been looking myself but have not been successful yet.

Thank you so much for the explanation and the drive package. This will help me A LOT!

This looks great! Is it only supported for dnd right now?

Would be awesome to have a model that would add sounds to creatures too when actors get close.

anyone else unable to attach tokens to sounds? I get a message that says no object selected but I have a token and a sound object
Hello, nice vid ! What's the module used to get this sheet type look ? :P
Edit : Nevermind, found it ! :)
Hey man, Maestro dosent seem to work anymore in Foundry 0.8.9
Question Mr Weaver. Will sounds follow characters from scene to scene. Items sounds and or character-attached sounds

Yeah, I have heard of that problem. I'm not aware of any sort of workaround currently unfortunately.
