@@BeneathTheWavesFishingJerseyyeah to me the intro was a nice addition showing catches. Nice to change it about every now and then maybe. Bit of mojo or whatever it’s called missing personally. End up going fishing less due to catches being less or pretty much non existent. Will change like the jet stream…… hopefully.
I do use belly weighted lures at night yes. More of a do live man tbh but have some evo lures also. But I should use them more.. not got any pirate teasers tho. Any colour you rec in them for night fishing bud
@@BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey hi Sam the lemon backs and pure white for night fishing and also the mishna eel if you can get them with a 10g jighead, chat to dave major who owns pirate he make you any colour you want (bespoke to you) 👍🎣🐟
I do find tho depending on how you fish spots. After a couple hours of the tide after high it dies off. Again depends on where you fish and how you fish places. 💥💥🐟🎣
@@BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey I was fishing outside St Sampsons harbour the other week and every cast came back clogged in weed, grip weight and bait covered in it, you couldn't even see the bait 🙄😀
Hi mate.. is it flat calm when you fish on a nigh or can you fish with a little bit of swell with soft plastics. I’ve only ever fished a night when it’s totally flat I just wasn’t sure if the bass would still find the soft plastics
What casting weight is your rod bud? And out of curiosity what braid are you using (is it 8 strand / what’s the diameter) I always find the crappy braid doesn’t help casting one bit. If that makes sense. Also the casting weight of the rod in comparison to the lure may be a factor. It’s hard to say when it’s not infront of you. If that makes sense.
@@BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey 15-40 gram casting weight using a 25g lure. I forgot what my line diameter it was but its 8 strand berkley sick braid. It was recommended to me from mr fish for my reel.

Same here in Guernsey, that weed just clogs everything, it literally ruins your night.

Hey mate, you got any tips for casting with lures? I seem to only be able to cast them a few metres. I got a quick dam reel and a Abu Vendetta rod
